"How did you get started playing hockey?" "How old are you?" "Six." "Well, when I was 2 years younger than you, when I was 4-years-old, I started playing in Winnipeg. I was a forward. At first I didn't play goal, I started playing goal when I was eleven." "Why did you decide to play goalie?" "It was a dream of mine when I was small. And our team didn't have a goalie and I decided to play goal. It seemed to work out well for me so I continued it." "Have you ever scored a goal?" "I wish I could say that, When I was a forward, yeah, I scored lots. But as a goalie I haven't scored a goal, maybe an assist. An assist, that's about it." "Have you played any other sports?" "I played basketball and volleyball when I was in junio high school. When I was in high school I didn't have time because I was away from home since I was 15-years-old." What do you like to do when you're not playing hockey?" "I like to go to the movies. I rent a lot of movies, and I actually take long walks by myself and think about things, think about life." "What do you want to do after hockey?" "Well both my brothers have companies and I'd like to get into business with them in their companies, or open something else that I'd like to do. But I would have to go to college before I do something like that." "Are you having a good Christmas?" "Yes, What's Santa going to bring you?" "Bring me? I don't know. Hopefully, he brings me a win tonight. What's Santa bringing you?" "A Barbie Dreamhouse and a Cabbage Patch Kid." "Ah,...my sister has lots of those." Today I talked to Sonny Mignacca, goalie for the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks. This is the first time I ever met Sonny. He was really nice. I had a good time. I'm glad Sonny plays for the Tiger Sharks. He is the Best! The interview was lots of fun.
