SAATHIYA
It had been some months that I had not watched the movie Saathiya. So, at
midnight, I started my favorite watchable movie today. The concept of the movie
is not novel, but the presentation is. More than the script, it's the treatment
that strikes a cord! The realism of emotions in a relationship, the cuteness,
the spontaneity of acting, the zappy music, the nature-based lyrics....it's all
enjoyable and engrossed with moments of bliss! Every time I watch it, I learn
something about a couple's relationship.....Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherji keep
the movie alive with their performances. They nicely bring forward the freshness
and rawness of a young couple in love. Shaad Ali really did a good job of Mani
Ratnam story, particularly with the background narration....this is one of the
few movies that I feel proud of in terms of Bollywood cinema at its popular
best, whenever I watch.....
