Notes: Sixth season of BTVS/ third season of Ats. This story has major character death, torture, blood play, female/male/female slash, female/female slash, and plenty of sex and foul language. What more could you possibly ask for.

Summary: Several weeks after Buffy’s return from the dead and she’s still out of it. Her friends are all worried about her ‘all slay and no play’ attitude and don’t know what to do about it. Dawn enlists the help of Angel in order to help bring her sister back. But what Dawn doesn’t know is that an sinister presence is after Angel and wants to revert him to his evil self. So when Buffy arrives in L.A., she’s in for a big surprise. But will Buffy end her relationship with Angel at the end of a stake, or will she give in to his dark side and rule as his eternal queen?

Chapter 3

“I just talked to Cordy again and she says that they haven’t heard from Buffy or Angel for about four hours. She also mentioned that a medallion that Angel found is missing. Wesley believes that it hold great power, so he’s going to look it up from memory.” Willow relayed the story to the Scooby’s.

“Any idea where they could be?” Giles asked.

“None.” Willow answered.

“Why do I have a nagging feeling that we’re all gonna die!?” Xander shouted.

“Well, if Angel goes all evil again, I’m sure you’ll be the first he kills.” Anya told him.

“Thanks Ahn. I feel so much better now.”

“Hey guys,” Tara said while looking around. “Where’s Dawn?”

“So little bit, how long are you planning on staying here? It’s bloody dangerous in the cemetery at this time.” Spike asked. Him and Dawn had been sitting in his crypt for hours talking.

“Can I stay here until Buffy comes back? She’s been gone all summer and now that she’s back I don’t want to lose her again. I love her and she’s all I have left.” Dawn answered.

“Aww Dawn. You won’t lose me. Not ever again.” Buffy said stepping into the crypt.

“Buffy! I thought you were in L.A.”

“Plans have changed. I’ve come back for you. Come on, let’s go.” Buffy held her hand out to Dawn. Just when she was about to take Buffy’s hand, Spike felt something different about her. Something he knew all to well.

“Don’t little bit!” Spike yelled. “She’s…” He was cut off as Buffy choked the life out of him, and he could do nothing to stop her, for she was more powerful than she had ever been. ‘What the bloody hell did my pansy of a grand-sire do to her. There’s something off about her. She’s giving me both Vamp and Slayer vibes at the same time. But the strangest part is how my blood is screaming for hers. She’s…she’s…*bloody hell*…she’s part of the family now. Family blood.’

“Dawnie, go wait for me outside.” Buffy instructed her calmly.

“But Buffy…”

“Don’t worry. Angel’s outside waiting for you. Go ahead, I’ll be right out. I just want to talk to Spike for a minute.” Dawn took one last look at Buffy and Spike, then left the crypt.

“What are you going to do to her? I promised The bloody Slayer that I would protect Dawn.”

“Then congrats William, you have.” Buffy dropped him to the ground. “I’m not going to do anything to her. She’s my sister and I love her.” Buffy answered with a smirk on her face. A smirk that Spike recognized belonged to his sadistic sire Angelus’.

“Then what are you going to do to me?” He asked as he stood up and brushed his clothes off.

“Ha! You want to know what’s going to become of you? That’s a toughie. Why don’t you ask her!” Buffy told Spike, pointing to the shadows. A moment later Drusilla emerged.

“Dru!?” Spike perked up at seeing his black goddess.

“Bite your tongue!” She demanded. “You have been a very, very, bad man. I came back for you Spike and you betrayed me.”

“But Ducks, you left me. I tried to win you back with no prevail luv.” Spike answered.

“You will pay Spike! Daddy will make sure you pay! Grandmummy will make you pay!”

“Come on Dru let’s go.” Buffy chimed in.

“Come Spike. Time to rejoin the family.”

“But luv, the chip.”

“Shhh…shh…we’ll make it right. We’ll be a family again Spike: You, me, sister, daddy, and grandmummy.” Dru answered.

“Dru, take Spike and meet me and Angel at the mansion. I don’t want to scare Dawn with your presence. Okay?”

“Ok sissy.” Dru answered.

“Don’t be long.” Buffy turned around and left.

“Ready to go Dawn?” Buffy asked as she came out of Spike’s crypt. Dawn and ‘Angel’ were sitting on a headstone talking when she came out.

“Where are we going?” Dawn asked

“To the mansion.” Buffy answered her as they walked though the cemetery.

“Why?”

“Because Angel and I are on special mission. We have to keep a low profile Dawn.”

“Why can’t I stay with Spike then? He could keep me safe like he always does.”

“I’m aware the Spike protects you, which is why he’s coming with us.” Buffy answered.

“Where is he? I don’t see him?” She asked looking around.

“I sent him on a errand. He’ll be along soon.”

“Angel?” Dawn said turning to face Angelus.

“Yes?” He answered.

“Are you and Buffy back together?” Hope showing all over her face.

“Would you like it if we were?” He answered her with a question of his own.

“I think it would make her happy.” She looked over at Buffy then back to Angel. “Just don’t try and kill her like last time. Okay?”

“I promise Dawn. I’ll never hurt Buffy again.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“It’s not a problem anymore. I won’t be trying to kill Buffy ever again.”

“Then we can all be a family?”

Instead of answering Angelus looked over at Buffy, who smiled at Dawn and answered, “Yup. We’ll never be apart again. Dawn we’ll never let any harm come to you. You know I’ll die before I let anyone hurt you.”

“I know Buffy.”

“Dawn, I don’t know if I say this enough, but I love you. You are my sister and I swore to always protect you, no matter what. And that’s what I’m gonna do. Always remember that.”

“So luv, what’s next on our list?” Spike asked Drusilla as they walked the streets of Sunnydale, making sure they took the long way to the mansion.

“The stars sang a song to me Spike. They told me I had to get the family back together. And Ms. Edith, she told me I couldn’t get Daddy without The Slayer.” Dru answered.

“Right. Soooo…bringing Darla back is our next move? I really hope not. I hate her more than the bloody Poofster. She’s always such a bitch. I’m glad she got tired of us and left after Angelus was cursed by the bloody gypsies.”

“I think Sissy wants to play first.” Dru giggled.

“With Dawn?” Spike sounded a bit nervous. He couldn’t let them harm Dawn. He actually likes her.

“La, de, da, da. Hmmmmm…” Dru started to get a vision and as Spike held her she began to whimper. “Hmm…Hmm.”

“What do you see pet?” he asked.

“Not the little one.” She answered. “With her friends.” She gestured for Spike to come closer and when he leaned in she whispered. “They’re all going to die.” Then she started to laugh.

“We’ve searched everywhere!” Xander said coming through the door. He, Anya, and Tara had gone to Spike’s crypt to see if Dawn was there. The others had stayed behind and called all of Dawn’s friends.

“We couldn’t find Dawn or Spike anywhere. They’re both gone.” Tara added.

“Coincidence?” Willow asked hopefully.

“Not likely.” Giles answered.

“Come on guys, Spike would never hurt Dawn.” Anya reasoned. ‘Demons have to take up for each other right?’ She asked herself.

“Perhaps you’re right. But something is definitely going on.” Giles added sounding worried as he removed his glasses to wipe them off.

“Yeah, first Buffy and Angel are missing and now Dawn and Spike.” Xander threw in.

“Willow, get on the phone and call the others. They need to know of the recent update.” Giles told her.

“Dawn, why don’t you go upstairs to the bedroom all the way to the end of the hall and to the right. I put a TV. in there for you. And I’ll bring some food up in about an hour. K?” Buffy spoke to Dawn as they all entered the mansion.

“Is it cable?” Dawn asked.

Buffy turned to Angelus and said, “See what I have to put up with?” Then she turned back to Dawn and told her, “No, but if you’re really good I’ll see what I can do.” Dawn just nodded her head and walked up the stairs. Once she was out of earshot Buffy spoke again, “So Angelus, who should our first target be?”

“Well, I’ve always hated Xander. I’m looking forward to spending some nice long quality time with him.” He had a sinister smile on his face that Buffy knew all to well. He was thinking of all the possible ways he could inflict pain and suffering on the poor, stupid, pathetic child. The sniveling weasel who had been after his beloved Buffy from day one.

“Xander it is. And Angel, don’t kill him. We have to have everything perfect before we kill them.” She added, smiling herself.

“And the little one?” he asked. “She would make a fine meal. Quite possibly the best ever.”

“No harm will come to my sister!! Is that clear Angelus!?” she spat out.

“You are not in charge Buff!!!” He growled, changing into vamp mode. “*I* am!! *I* am your sire and *I* run the family!! We do things *MY* way!!” he finished.

“Really!?” Buffy challenged, changing into vamp mode herself. “You touch one hair on *MY* sister’s head and *I* will make *YOU* pay! So go ahead and try *ME*!” she threatened.

They stood there staring at each other for a good three minutes when Angelus finally spoke up, “God, you are so enticing.” He moved closer to Buffy. “In all my years, I have never seen a woman as enchanting as you. If I had any breath you would take it away. That is why you will be my queen. I have never taken a queen before, a mate to rule by my side, until now.”

She stared at him a while longer before he pulled her into his arms and began to savagely kiss her. “I love you Angelus. I can’t wait…to take my place…by your side.” Buffy panted as she kissed him back. Angelus slammed her against the wall and sank his fangs into her neck. She silently screamed as his fangs pierced her neck. Buffy wrapped her arms around Angelus’ head, holding him steady. She loved the way it felt to have him drink from her. She felt her whole body heat up from her obvious desire of him. This is another one of his power games. He wants me to know who really runs things. Although physically stronger than Angelus, I’m still new to the whole Vampire thing. Angelus has resources, power, and connections I know nothing of, much less try and handle. He’s an extremely wealthy Vampire, well actually he’s an extremely wealthy Master Vampire. And even if I didn’t love him, which I do, I wouldn’t even fathom trying to eliminate him. And once Spike’s chip is out his head we will build an empire and rule the world.

Buffy wished that she could taste him, but the blood of a sire is usually forbidden to their childer. He had just offered her the title of his Queen, which she knew she would be trained for, maybe even brutally, but right now all she wanted was to feed from him. As if he read her mind, Angelus held his wrist out to Buffy and with no hesitation at all she sank her fangs into him.

Spike and Drusilla had been watching the whole scene from when Angelus asked about Dawn, until now. Once they saw Angelus offer his wrist to Buffy and her take it, Spike gasped. The fact that Angelus was sharing his blood with Buffy meant that he was sharing his power and authority with her. The only time a childe drank from their sire was when they were being changed into a vamp, when the childe was extremely weak, and when the sire was sharing their power with their new chosen mate.

Spike blood recited. She is truly the wanker’s equal now. Which means I really have to watch mine and Dru’s back because Buffy not only has authority over us, but she has the power to kill us all. I figure she’ll keep Angelus around, but won’t hesitate to kill Dru, Darla, or myself if she felt it necessary. I could care less if she killed that bitch Darla, but not my black plum. She’s everything to me.

Buffy and Angelus turned around at hearing Spike’s gasp. Still in vamp mode Angelus spoke first. “It’s about time you two showed up. We have things to do.” Angelus turned to Buffy, letting her know she could go ahead.

“Spike, go upstairs and keep Dawn company. Don’t betray the family because I will kill you! Slowly! Drusilla I need you to go get us all some food. Make sure they’re pure and young, and don’t kill Spike’s food yet. I’m going to get Dawn something to eat.” As Buffy finished, Spike started up the stairs while Dru walked to the door. As soon as Angelus spoke everyone stopped and turned to listen.

“And me lover?” he asked.

“Umm…ok…How about you find a way to get Xander here. They’re all probably at home by now, which means Anya should be with him. Get them both here if possible, but make sure they don’t call the rest of the gang. The last thing we need is a battle with Dawn upstairs.”

“Do you really want to keep the human around, or are you going to kill here later?”

“I wasn’t joking when I said no harm will come to her.” She looked round at each of her family members, stopping on Drusilla. “She will be safe here. Do I make myself clear Drusilla?”

“But she’s so young and innocent. I can smell the pure raw power seeping off of her.” Dru sang.

Buffy walked over to Dru and slammed her against the wall before anyone knew what was happening. “Don’t. Make. Me. Repeat. Myself.” Buffy threatened , pronouncing every word slowly.

“Buffy please!” Spike pleaded as he made his way across the room. “I’ll make sure she doesn’t hurt Nibblet.”

“You better!! If I come back and so much as a hair is out off place on my sister’s head, I will make you both wish you hadn’t been born, died, and came back to life!! I will make your unlife an unimaginable torture!” She spat out as she dropped Dru back to the ground. “K?”

“Yes Sissy.”

“Good. Keep it that way.” Buffy said changing out of vamp mode.

“Hey Nibblet, what are you watching?” Spike asked Dawn as he sat down on the bed next to Dawn.

“Roswell.” She answered. “Spike, am I safe here?” She asked turning to face him.

“Safer than anywhere else. You know Buffy, Angel, and I will protect you with our lives. Why do you ask?”

“I went down stairs to ask Buffy something and I saw…” She leaned in closer to Spike. “I saw Angel and Buffy kissing, and then Angel bit her. I didn’t really get a good look at them before I ran back upstairs.”

“Sometimes vampires mark humans as their mates. I’m pretty sure The Poof was just reclaiming Buffy as his.”

“So I’m safe here?”

“Safer than you’ve ever been.” Spike answered.

Angelus stood outside Xander and Anya’s apartment. His hair was a mess, his blue shirt was partly untucked, and even though he didn’t need to, he was breathing heavily. This ought to create the illusion that I was in a fight. He thought as he ran up to their front door, making sure to slam into it. For affect of course. While banging on the door, Angelus yelled, “Xander, Anya, open up! You have to help me!” This is going to be to easy.

Xander opened the door with Anya right behind him. “Dead-boy, what happened to you?” Looking around he added, “Where’s Buffy?”

“You have to help me! We were walking down the street talking and they grabbed her! We fought back, but there was to many of them! They took her!”

“Should we call the others?” Anya asked.

“We don’t have time! I can track them if we move now!” Angelus told them as he was pacing. “Grab the closes weapons and let’s go!”

“Right.” Xander called over his shoulder as he grabbed a crossbow, two stakes, and a vile of holy water.

“Now you three be quiet.” Drusilla warned a young girl and two boys she had chained outside in the garden of the mansion. “But just in case…” Dru reached over and gagged the girl first and then the boys. “I still have to get daddy some food, so you three be good.” She smiled as she sauntered back outside to finish her hunt.

Buffy walked back into the mansion with a pizza in her hand for Dawn. “Spike!” she yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

“Yeah Slayer?” he answered coming down the stairs.

“Give this to Dawn and make sure you’re ready. It’s almost time. I’ll be in the back.”

“Excuse me.” Dru said stepping in front of a girl walking out of The Bronze.

“Yeah, what is it?” she snapped. “I have things to do.”

“Do you have any food on you?” she giggled.

“Do I look like I have any food?” The girl was growing more impatient and annoyed. Drusilla just nodded her head and snatched the girl by the arm.

“My daddy will be most pleased with you.” Dru laughed as her nails dug into the girl’s arm, drawing blood, while she dragged her down the street towards the mansion. The girl fought back savagely, but it was no use. Her strength couldn’t compare to that of the Vampiress’.

“Why would they bring her to the mansion?” Xander asked as they stood outside the mansion Angel used to live in.

“Look, I just followed the trail and her scent. I don’t know why they brought Buffy here, but I’m going in. You can either stay out here or help me get her back.” Angelus didn’t look back as he went in.

“I’m with Angel.” Anya said. She too was armed with a cross bow and several stakes. Xander just followed suit and entered the mansion after Anya.

“Buffy!!” Angelus called as he scanned the first floor.

“Did anyone explain to you what sneak attack means?” Xander asked, keeping his voice at a whisper.

“I don’t have time for that! They have Buffy and I’m going to kill them all!” he growled.

“She’s not here.” Spike announced coming down the stairs. “I’ve searched the whole bloody house for the little one. No one’s here.”

“Spike? What are you doing here?”

“Bloody demons snatched Dawn right out from under me. I tracked them here and now it looks like no one’s home.”

“So the demons take Buffy and Dawn and lead us here. Maybe it’s a trap.” Anya concluded.

“She’s pretty smart.” Drusilla deducted as she emerged from the garden, already in vamp mode.

“Spike, you betrayed us!” Xander quivered. Turning to Angelus he says, “We can still get out if we hurry Angel.”

“Sorry Xander, but…” changes into his game face, “I’m not Angel.” He laughs.

“I knew it!” Xander screamed, shaking from head to toe. “I had a feeling we were all going to die!”

“Gee, and I thought I was the only one who got prophetic dreams.” Buffy smiled while coming in through the room to the right.

“Buffy, what’s going on?” Xander asked, afraid of the answer.

Shrugging her shoulders she answered, “You’re all going to die!” she laughed, while she went into vamp mode as well. Xander screamed as he realized Buffy was a vampire and quite possibly their leader.

“You’re a vampire.” Anya spoke up.

“She really is smart.” Buffy said glancing around. “Maybe we’ll be able to break her.”

“Spike help us.” Xander pleaded.

“Sorry mate. Never liked your arse much anyway. Red there was always my bloody fav besides The Slayer. Besides I have to go with my family.”

“You can’t kill us anyway. You’re harmless. You’re nothing but a washed up vamp.” Xander challenged.

“I’m Bloody Vicious!!” Spike spat out, changing his features to match his family’s. “Wait until I get this bloody chip out of my head you fucking wanker!”

“Don’t worry Spikey. They’ll be around for a very long time. And when we get that pesky chip out, they’ll all pay.” Drusilla choked out.

They were trapped. To their left stood Drusilla, in front of them Spike, to the right was Buffy, and behind them was Angelus. Xander figured his and Anya’s best choice would be to try and take Spike down, but somehow he knew it wouldn’t work. Xander and Anya had two choices: go down fighting, or just go down. If there was one thing he learned from Buffy it was; if you’re going to go down, take as many vamps as you can with you.

Xander reached into his pocket for his vile of holy water. He figured he could splash Angelus and have enough time for Anya, at least, to get away. Before Xander could splash Angelus, he reached down and snapped the boy’s wrist. Xander cried out in pain and dropped to his knees. “Bastard!” he screamed. “you…you…broke my…wrist.”

“I know.” He smirked down at the little boy who dared to love his mate. Xander shakily got back to his feet.

“Say good night Xander.” Buffy chimed in, nodding to Angelus and Drusilla. Taking their cue, Angelus elbowed Xander across the face, effectively dropping him back to the ground as Dru grabbed Anya and threw her against the wall. Both fell unconscious from the blows. “Chain ‘em up Spike.” Buffy told him as she took a seat on Angelus’ lap on the couch. “The others might not be so easy, but I doubt it. Without me they’re nothing.” She added.

“So what next then love?” Angelus asked as he kissed up and down Buffy’s neck and stroked her breast through her top.

“Ummm.” She moaned, leaning into Angelus’ hand. “We get the chip out of Spike’s head. We’re going to need everyone at full power, but first…”

“Dinner.” Dru finished as she brought in the four humans she had captured earlier.

“Okay calm down Willow! Yeah we’ll be in touch.” Cordy sighed as she hung up the phone with Willow for the fourth time that night. “Guys, something bad is really going on. We know Angel and Buffy are missing, and the Spike and Dawn, and now it looks like Xander and Anya are missing too.”

“And let’s not forget the medallion. It’s also missing.” Wesley added.

“Does anyone know what’s going on?” Fred asked.

“All we know is we have two vamps missing, neither of whom pose any threat to humans, The Slayer and her kid sister are gone, and now two of her good friends. Looks to me like we have some kind of revenge thing going on, which means we’re all in danger. Everyone connected to Buffy and or Angel are suddenly disappearing and we may be next.” Gunn justified.
