Week of January 4
Maria recovers from her fall, but a five-year gap in her memory is discovered. Sara breaks a promise, straining her relationship with Casey. Meg leaves Ben when he admits loving Maria. Annie discovers the identity of her blackmailer. Regarding Trey - Gregory tells Annie he knows the truth, Caitlin almost tells Cole, and Annie almost tells Francesca. Cole wants to make another baby. Francesca tells AJ and Cole she's staying in town. Cole threatens Francesca's life. Antonio requests a transfer. Meg offers advice to Vanessa regarding the baby.

Week of January 11
Maria realizes she still loves Ben ­ and can't divorce him. Emily and Sean almost make love. When Vanessa gets "proof" to say Michael can't be her baby's father, and that it's Tyus'. Olivia admits to Cole that the baby she lost may have been his. When Annie claims Trey is Cole's son, Gregory realizes it might be true. Francesca tells Gregory she knows about Trey, and proposes Gregory fix the paternity test in his favor. Ricardo discovers Antonio's transfer papers. Gabi kisses Antonio thinking he's Ricardo, and later asks him if the real reason he's leaving is because he has feelings for her.

Week of January 18
Maria moves in with Ben as "therapy." Casey tries to make Michael stay after he finds out the truth about Vanessa's baby. Virginia considers if Vanessa does have feelings for Tyus. Annie plans to fix Trey's paternity results. AJ believes Olivia's baby might be alive; Cole begins a search. Bette witnesses a heated exchange. Amy tries to finesse herself into Emily's good graces. Antonio realizes Gabi has feelings for him as well, and Carmen begins to understand why he's leaving.

Week of January 25
Maria sees how much Ben cares for Meg and wishes she could make Ben remember how much he loved her. Gregory arranges to falsify documents so that Trey will be his son. Cole believes Annie is a key link to Olivia's baby. Michael suspects something. Ricardo confronts Carmen after she points accusations at Gabi. Gerard makes plans to ensure Gabi won't discover he's embezzling from AJ. Antonio confesses his feelings for Gabi to Maria. Per Gregory's plans, Francesca plants a video camera in AJ's office.

February 1999

Week of February 1
Meg is crushed when Maria and Ben plan to go out of town together. In Palm Springs, Maria and Ben kiss. Sara sets up a plot with Tim to keep Meg from Casey. Michael confronts the doctor who forged Vanessa letter for Virginia. Virginia finally admits the whole story, then attacks Vanessa. Karen, Gerard's wife, tells Antonio that he planted a bomb at AJ's resort. Antonio finds Gabi there as the bomb explodes. They finally admit their feelings for each other and, while Ricardo comes to their aid, they make love.

Week of February 8
Ben asks Meg to share in his life, and Maria gets hysterical. An encounter between Annie and Cole gets dirty, when he discovers Olivia's connection to Annie's baby scheme. Caitlin catches Gregory with Francesca. Vanessa tries to cope with the loss of her baby, while Michael confronts a crazed Virginia. Brad suspects Leo likes Emily. Antonio and Gabi are rescued, but Gabi must control Antonio's guilt-ridden need to confess their tryst to Ricardo.

Week of February 15
Maria lashes out at Meg for stealing Ben. Gregory stops Annie from confessing everything to Cole. Cole confronts Olivia, who warns him that he could lose Caitlin. Olivia breaks up with AJ after catching him kissing Francesca. Caitlin discovers she has to donate blood to Trey. Antonio sees Gabi accept Ricardo's marriage proposal. Carmen blocks Antonio's transfer. Francesca discovers she has a tape of Antonio and Gabi making love, and begins a blackmailing scheme.

Week of February 22
Meg realizes it's time to let Maria and Ben get on with their lives. Caitlin finally admits to Cole that she's not Trey's mother. Cole realizes Trey is Olivia's child, but Olivia defends her decision. Gregory looks at the situation with delight, while Caitlin, Annie, Sean, AJ and Francesca deal with the consequences. Virginia, locked in a mental hospital, plots revenge against Vanessa. Antonio vows not to let Francesca ruin their lives. Instead of stealing money from the evidence room, Gabi realizes she stole a gun.

March 1999

Week of March 1
Maria, Ben and Meg work towards an elopement in Venice, but a mystery woman plans to visit Ben with news. Tyus reveals Trey's father as Gregory, and Cole gives him Trey. Annie threatens Gregory with Trey's true paternity. Olivia admits the truth about Trey to Caitlin, who finds out about Olivia and Cole's affair from Francesca. Antonio finds a gun Gabi stole and confronts her. Gabi and Antonio confront Francesca. Caitlin confronts Cole. AJ threatens Francesca. Hank bonds with Tim, who continues blackmailing Sarah. Virginia attacks Vanessa. Michael realizes he still loves Vanessa.

Week of March 8
While Tim plots to stop Meg's wedding, Tess arrives with a boy who calls Ben his father and calls Maria "Mommy." Casey, Sarah, Joan and Hank witness this, and Hank and Ben get into an altercation. Meg accuses Tess of lying, who claims she has proof. Cole admits to the affair with Olivia, who vows to kill Francesca. Caitlin vows no one will take her baby away from her. Annie realizes Francesca's kidnapping plans and warns her to stay away from Trey. Cole confronts Francesca with a gun. AJ wants to punish Francesca. Gabi tells Antonio that she will not allow Francesca to keep blackmailing them. Francesca kidnaps Trey. When Francesca pops out of a cake with a serious gunshot wound and is taken to the hospital, everyone follows. Amy and Brad find Trey. Francesca calls out Antonio's name. Annie tells AJ about Cole and Olivia's affair. Gregory tries to comfort Caitlin. Cole questions Caitlin about her whereabouts.

Week of March 15
Ben and Maria try to figure out whether Benji is really their son. After taking to Sarah, Meg sees the couple bonding more than ever and wonders if this is actually a plot by Maria. Theories and accusations fly in the matter of Francesca's shooting; she tells Antonio that Gabi shot her. Gabi claims innocence, but is she telling the truth? Everyone, including Sean, finds out Trey is actually Olivia's son and about her affair with Cole. Cole is with Francesca when she dies and is questioned; Eddie and Del meet her in Hell.

Week of March 22
Ben, Meg and Maria demand concrete proof that Tess' story is true, ultimately taking a paternity test. Tim continues pursuing Meg. Casey admits he loves Sara, but gets suspicious of her and Tim. Leo heads back to Switzerland, while Michael and Vanessa bid farewell to Jimmy and begin healing their relationship. Francesca's autopsy report comes in. Sean becomes distant with Emily. Gregory gives Caitlin a painful ultimatum. Olivia discovers Gregory's shocking plans for Trey. Antonio and Gabi try to keep Ricardo from their tape, but she later makes a startling admission.

Week of March 29
Ben, Meg, Maria get the test results, and they ponder their future with Benjy, including living arrangements. Maria tries to understand why she can't remember Benjy. Tim makes Sara get dirt on Tess. Gabi figures out where the tape is. Annie dreams she's a guest on "The Jerry Feller Show" as "Murderer for a Day," with lots of special guests. Ricardo considers motives for Francesca's slaying, then discovers connections to Gabi and Olivia. Brad is interrogated, while Amy blackmails Olivia for housing, and Sean affections. Olivia gets custody of Trey, and Cole tries to help Caitlin get him back.

April 1999

Week of April 5
Meg and Maria have it out. Sara begins to question her relationship with Casey, but is later caught rifling through Tess' things. AJ warns Olivia he'll do whatever it takes to protect Cole. Amy finds Brad at the police station with another story. While Olivia tries to keep everyone away from Trey, Bette finds planted evidence in Francesca's murder and they are arrested soon after they hide it. Sean and Emily begin to love again, as do Vanessa and Michael. Annie stops Cole from getting another paternity test. Carmen questions Gabi's faithfulness to Ricardo and later finds her in Antonio's embrace.

Week of April 12
Meg and Maria agree to put aside their difference for Benjy. Tim tries to use Tess to get to Meg, whom Casey searches out. Annie finds the gun in Bette's turkey and plants it on Cole. Olivia and Bette are released and try to find the gun. Gregory gives Caitlin divorce papers for her and Cole, who run into each other in the grotto. Gabi and Antonio search for the tape at a cabin and spend the night. Gregory demotes Vanessa, who ends up interviewing Michael. Ricardo takes a bullet for Annie. Caitlin discovers the gun in Cole's jacket.

Week of April 19
After strong words from Ben, Maria and Benjy, Meg breaks down in Casey's arms. Michael and Vanessa talk over troubles. Carmen calls Gabi a whore. Antonio confesses to Maria and asks for help her advice when Gabi can't tell a recovering Ricardo. Caitlin, realizing she still loves Cole, takes the fall for him and is arrested. Cole tries to clear her name and confronts Olivia. Gregory uses Trey to get Caitlin to tell the truth, and then gives Annie a warning - unwittingly incriminating himself.

Week of April 26
Maria's uneasiness around Benjy leads her to Mrs. Moreau door. Tim tells Tess to give Meg another chance, but she walks in on Meg searching her room. Mrs. Moreau appears on her doorstep to make amends by helping win Michael's love. Ricardo catches Gabi and Antonio about the watch the tape they've finally found. Cole enlists Sean to help him vindicate Caitlin, an idea that backfires. Annie finds empowerment in another fantasy. She tries to get Cole to admit he killed Francesca, saying she has proof, but Cole says Annie's the murderer who's framing Caitlin, and they end up at the police station.

May 1999

Week of May 3
Benjy and Meg's relationship grows worse. Tim and Tess go out. Meg and Casey confront Sara about her behavior. Maria agrees to go under Mrs. Moreau's spell, but it leaves her more troubled. Michael admits he can't trust Vanessa yet. Gabi hides the tape in her purse, but Carmen pulls her own switcheroo. Carmen tries to reveal the truth to Ricardo, who disowns her. Cole convinces Sean he didn't kill Francesca, then visits Caitlin to tell her he loves her and will prove his innocence. Annie and Cole search Gregory's study for evidence against him, but find something that gives Olivia a motive.

Week of May 10
While at her shower, Gabi learns that Maria know about her affair and receives a gift which foreshadows disaster. Carmen finally see the tape and decides to show it after the wedding rehearsal at which Antonio stops suddenly for no reason. Meg and Benjy grow farther apart as do Meg and Sara after Sara starts rumors of Meg leaving Ben, while Tess and Tim get closer together. Cole convinces Caitlin that he didn't kill Frenchy and he is getting help from someone. Olivia is receiving calls from someone who sounds like Frenchy and Amy continues to fight for Brad.

Week of May 17
Annie and Cole work to get Caitlin out of jail. Olivia keeps hearing Francesca's voice even though she is dead. Ricardo almost sees the tape. The guys get arrested at Ricardo's bachelor party. Carmen sees the tape. Meg is mad at Sara for saying Meg is in love with Casey. Gabi begins to have doubts about the wedding. Carmen tries to reveal the secret but can't. Bette accuses Annie of making the phone calls to Olivia. Sara accuses Casey of loving Meg. A.J. tries to convince Olivia that Francesca is dead. Tess informs Maria that Meg is moving out. Carmen shows Gabi the photo of Gabi and Antonio making love.

Week of May 24
In spite of Carmen's demands to leave town, Gabi continues with the wedding. When Carmen reassures Gabi that she will show all the photo, Gabi faints, and eventually leaves Ricardo at the alter. Sara and Casey make amends while Meg and Sara grow farther apart. Olivia, AJ, and Gregory get with Tyus who confirms that Francesca is alive. Maria gets a bit of memory back from Seattle, which upsets Tess.

Week of May 31
As Gabi leaves for El Paso, Ricardo tells Antonio he thinks that she has a problem with her father. While at the beach with Meg, Benjy is kidnapped. Meg feels responsible. After a fight on the beach, Ben finds Benjy in a building just as it blows up, and, somehow Tess is behind it. Following a tip of where Frenchy may be, Olivia, AJ, and Gregory head to the power plant, with weapons. Cole is on a tower playing with wires when he hears an intruder, Caitlin, who tells him they can't get back together. Michael and Vanessa spend a weekend at a spa and make love.

June 1999

Week of June 7
Ben rescues Benjy from the building and, back at the house, Meg tells Ben that she must move out, for good, now that Benjy is back Tess tells Benjy he had to fake the kidnapping to keep his mom and dad together. After being seen with the kidnapper, Tess runs smack into Tim! At the plant, Gregory tells "Frenchy" he was there to shot her AGAIN! Cole leaves Caitlin. Annie takes off the wig and reveals to Gregory that she was behind the calls the whole time as Cole sneaks up from behind saying he was too, they are gun to gun and fight with shots, as AJ arrives with Bette right behind him. After escaping, Gregory runs home to take Caitlin and Trey away but Olivia arrives. The police arrive at the plant and catch Cole and Annie. Gabi arrives in El Paso, Ricardo in down in the dumps, and Antonio seeks help to find Gabi, behind Ricardo's back.

Week of June 14
Maria asks Meg not to leave Ben. Tess admits that she engineered the kidnapping. Gregory forces Caitlin and Trey to go with him even when Olivia tries to stop him. Later Annie and Cole arrive at the Richard's house to find Olivia unconscious. Gregory takes Caitlin and Trey to the grotto where he says that he killed Francesca for her. Caitlin tries to reach Cole. Tim and Tess make love on the beach. Amy and Brad go to get Vanessa's help in the search for Gregory; while waiting for Vanessa to come out of the bedroom, Amy hears a message being left by Mrs. Moreau. Antonio dreams of Gabi coming back to him. Cole and Gregory go off the lifeguard station and into the sea.

Week of June 21
Gregory and Cole fall into the ocean. Ricardo and Michael find Cole but assume Gregory has floated away. At the Richards' home, Olivia is told of the situation then Ricardo announces that Gregory is presumed dead. Caitlin turns to Cole and she tells him she doesn't blame him and later they make love. Annie realizes she is rich after her and Olivia have it out. Amy and Brad visit Ms. Moreau but get a door slammed in their face. Antonio figures out that Gabi is in Blanco, Texas. Upon his arrival Antonio comes face to face with Gabi who tells him that someone else knows. Ricardo reconciles with Carmen and Spence tells him about Antonio. Gabi sees Ricardo in Blanco. Sara tells her parents that she is moving in. Tess and Tim continue their plot. Gregory emerges from behind some rocks---alive and well.

Week of June 28
Cole and Caitlin reunite and murder charges are dropped against Caitlin. Gabi revealed to Antonio that Carmen has the tape of their tryst. Ricardo and Gabi meet and he begs her to go back to SB with him. Annie almost slips up and admits that the paternity test could have been wrong. Olivia and Caitlin reconcile as mother and daughter. Amy buys a love potion and sneaks it into Sean's drink but he doesn't drink it.

July 1999

Week of July 5
Carmen refuses to give Antonio the tape of him and Gabi. Antonio tears her place apart until he finds the tape not knowing that she has a backup copy. Ricardo brings Gabi back to Sunset Beach; she is relieved when Antonio tells her he has burned the evidence. Tess and Tim put their "perfect" plan into motion and Meg falls for it. Maria is on her way to Seattle but changes her mind at the last moment. AJ tells his son that he intends to marry Olivia and be a father to Trey. Gregory is alive and planning revenge. Caitlin has a dream that her father is still alive. Carmen is determined to stop Gabi until Maria convinces her that she will tear the family apart. She throws the extra tape into the garbage but Ricardo finds it and pops it into the VCR.

August 1999

Week of August 2
Sara blames Tim for her break up with Casey. Meg plans on moving out of Surf Central, but decides to stay when she realizes that her relationship with Ben is over for good. After Annie reveals that Cole might be Trey's biological father, Cole demands a paternity test. Olivia refuses, but Cole takes the baby to the hospital and they discover that Cole really is the father. Amy convinces Sean not to tell Emily that they slept together. Carmen and Gabi worry that Ricardo may have seen the tape of Gabi and Antonio making love before having his stroke. Michael gets a job as Ricardo's physical therapist. Vanessa is angry when Michael suspects that she secretly helped him get it.

Week of August 9
Annie is desperate for money. She tries stealing from Olivia's purse and breaking in to safe. Olivia catches her both times. Caitlin asks Cole to take her away from Sunset Beach permanently, making him choose between her and Trey. Cole says he can't leave his son. Sean wants to tell Emily that he slept with Amy, but Amy convinces him not to. After the Summer Sports Competition, Sean and Amy end up in the hot tub together. Emily finds them as they are splashing around together. Ricardo is released from the hospital. He begins to plot his revenge against Gabi and Antoinio. Meg and Maria resolve their differences and try to revive their old friendship. Tess asks Maria if Benjy had been included in Ben's will. Tim pressures Tess to ask Maria for the million dollars.

Week of August 16
Ricardo spends his first night at home with Gabi. The next day, he tries to confide to Maria that he knows about Antonio and Gabi. When she doesn't seem surprised, Ricardo assumes that she already knows and is helping to conspire against him. Antonio and Gabi have a water fight while washing Ricardo's car. Olivia tries to leave the country with Trey, but A.J. stops her. Cole takes Caitlin on a surprise getaway to Santa Barbara. They enjoy a romantic evening and renew their wedding vows. This time, there will be no secrets. Amy and Sean become closer when Amy shares an emotional childhood memory with him. Sean tells Cole that he made love to Amy and asks for his advice. Meg decides to resign from the Liberty Corporation so that she won't see Ben as often. Meg and Sara suspect that Tim and Tess are plotting something together. Tim accuses Tess of using him and being dishonest.

Week of August 23
Ben and Maria are suspicious of Tess when she asks them if Ben has included Benjy in his will. Ben decides to go on a trip to Seattle to do an extensive background check on Tess. Sara and Meg continue to probe Tim for answers about his involvement with Tess. Under the influence of the love potion, Sean makes love to Amy again. Feeling guilty for his infidelity, Sean buys Emily a pearl necklace and a vacation to Hawaii for fall break. Annie is attacked in a dark alley by a man she was flirting with at The Deep. Jude comes to Annie's rescue, but then leaves her stranded at the bar without paying the expensive tab. Annie borrows the money from Maria. Jude has come to Sunset Beach because AJ wants him to work at the Liberty Corporation in Gregory's former position. Bette and AJ have dinner together. It is obvious that Bette is interested in having AJ for herself.

Week of August 30
Caitlin finds it increasingly difficult to cope with the fact that Trey is not her baby. She turns to Antonio for help. A new will is found that invalidates the previous one. Gregory's uncle Tobias, who lives in London, was given complete control over Trey's inheritance. AJ accuses Olivia of using Trey to push him away. Annie tries to break into the safe at the Liberty Corporation, but Jude catches her. Amy plants a pregnancy test in her purse and drops it for Emily to see. Emily tells Sean that she thinks Amy is pregnant. Both Meg and Sara plan to start a business. When hey find themselves competing for the same property, they reluctantly decide to open the store together.

September 1999

Week of September 6
Annie flies to London disguised as a stewardess so that she can convince Tobias to make her the executor of Gregory's will. When Olivia hears this, she also goes to London and takes Trey with her. Caitlin contacts a social worker in an attempt to declare Olivia an unfit mother for Trey. She is disappointed when she learns that Olivia does not meet the criteria to be declared unfit. Sean tells Emily that he slept with Amy when faced with a pregnancy scare. Emily is furious. Ricardo, in confession, tells the Archbishop that he saw Antonio making love to his wife, Gabi. As a result, the Archbishop does not give Antonio his expected promotion. Ben returns from Seattle, having found no incriminating evidence against Tess. Ben tells Meg that their relationship is over for good. Ben and Maria decide to live as a true married couple. They make love to celebrate.

Maria and Meg have no idea that Ben is really Derek, but Meg observes that Ben is not acting like himself. She thinks it is cruel that he continues to pursue her while he is married to Maria. Sara and Jude go out on a date. When Sara thinks that Casey is following her, she becomes upset and leaves Jude at the restaurant. Bette tells Olivia that Sean slept with Amy. Olivia is furious and wants to kick Amy out of her house. Mrs. Moreau threatens to put a spell on Amy if she does not give her five thousand dollars. Tyus tells Ricardo that he is now physically able to make love to Gabi.

October 1999

Week of October 4
Ben (Derek) and Maria plan a second honeymoon in Hawaii. Sara and Meg open their store. When Derek and Maria arrive to wish them good luck, Derek secretly confesses his love to Meg. Meanwhile, Sara accuses Maria of causing Ben and Meg's break-up; their fight escalates into a physical one. Jude makes some phone calls to London so that Cole will be released from the authorities. Ricardo asks Gabi if he is as good of a lover as Antonio. When Gabi denies her affair, Ricardo shows her the videotape of her making love to Antonio. Ricardo asks Gabi not to tell Antonio that he knows about their affair. Gabi is reluctant to keep a secret from Antonio, but Ricardo tells her that she must do so in order for their marriage to work.

Week of October 11
Annie convinced Olivia to pay Amy to leave her home. She then used the money to buy Mrs. Moreau's silence about the potion that Amy used on Sean. Annie later asked Mrs. Moreau to come up with a potion that would cause Olivia to resume her drinking. Derek told Tess that Maria and Ben would be dead just as soon as they headed off on their second honeymoon. Carmen fainted after looking into Derek's eyes and announcing that he's not Ben! Later in the hospital, Carmen remembered nothing of the encounter with Derek.

Week of October 25
Derek tries to kill Tim, but he manages to fight back and escape. Tess does not want Tim to get in the way of their plan so she comes to Derek's aid. After several fights, a wounded Tim escapes Derek's grasp and goes to Meg's house to warn her. Meg tells an angry Maria that Ben tried to kiss her and that he won't leave her alone. Michael proposes to Vanessa in the park while Caitlin, Jude, Annie, Maria, Meg, Sara, and Casey look on. Vanessa happily accepts. Annie successfully cuts off a lock of Olivia's hair while she is sleeping so that she can give to Mrs. Moreau for her potion. Ricardo plots his revenge against Gabi and Antonio. He tells Antonio to take Gabi to the police benefit. Ricardo is able to walk, but does not tell anyone because it is part of his revenge.

November 1999

Week of November 1
Derek hid Tim's lifeless body after strangling him. Caitlin grew closer to Uncle Tobias. At Annie's request, Mrs. Moreau prepared a potion from Olivia's hair that would cause to drink again.

Tess agreed to surrender her parental rights to Benjy. Maria planned to raise Benjy, while Ben will also be very involved in his life. Benjy decided to be friends with Meg. Annie revealed that Jude was an undercover FBI agent assigned to arrest Gregory. Olivia realized Gregory was alive, and convinced him to stop running from the authorities. Gregory was arrested for Francesca's murder. Carmen and Maria learned that Ricardo was alive. Ricardo, Gabi, and Antonio confronted each other. Afterwards, Gabi decided to leave town. She and Ricardo apologized to each other. Antonio decided to go on a retreat. Ricardo and Antonio made up. Vanessa learned that her father wouldn't be able to leave Oslo to attend her wedding because there is a blizzard. Tyus offered to give Vanessa away at the wedding. Ben planned a surprise for Meg. Sara and Casey got engaged. Annie reveals to Olivia that she could have made her a permanent drunk with no hope of recovery if she had given her just one more dose of the potion--but Annie was unable to go through with it. Carmen told Maria that she sees her finding happiness with a man named "English" (which was Maria's nickname for Ben). Shortly afterwards, Maria meets a man named Ross English.

Final Episode: December 31
Richards Family Reunion: Olivia opens her front door to find Caitlin and Trey outside. Caitlin tells Olivia that Jude tracked down her and Sean, and told them what was going on back home. Caitlin reveals that she found Cole in London, but he won't be able to return to the U.S. for a while yet because of legal troubles. She intends to go back to England to be with him. While she's gone, she wants Olivia to take care of Trey. Olivia is overjoyed to have her children back, especially when Sean and Emily (who have reconciled) enter the room. Jude shows up to fill Olivia in on exactly why Sean and Caitlin agreed to come home. Caitlin gets a surprise of her own when Cole arrives to be with her.

Antonio/Gabi/Ricardo: At the church, Gabi returns her wedding ring to Ricardo and informs him that she is leaving town today. Antonio says he'll miss her; so does Ricardo. Carmen apologizes to Gabi for the way she's treated her. She sees "love and promise" in Gabi's future.

Before The Wedding: Meg Ben asks Meg to marry him today. He suggests a double wedding with Michael and Vanessa. As Meg leaves to find Vanessa to ask her opinion, she bumps into Maria. Maria assures Meg that she is happy for her and Ben. And of course, Vanessa is thrilled at the idea of a double wedding. While preparing, Meg finds a beautiful wedding gown. Meanwhile, Maria informs Annie of Ben and Meg's plans. Annie is shocked to hear that Maria gave Meg her blessing, but Maria insists that she wants to move on with her life. Meg is about to go out for the ceremony, but Annie arrives to congratulate her. If Maria can accept Ben and Meg's marriage, so can Annie.

Before The Wedding: Everyone Else Amy and Brad enter the church and run into A.J. and Bette. Amy asks if Emily has heard from Sean; Bette says that's why Emily isn't there. Amy informs Brad that she doesn't intend to pursue Sean; he can't give her what she wants. After speaking with Meg, Annie runs into Olivia. Olivia informs Annie that Jude told her Annie is responsible for convincing Sean and Caitlin to come home. And to do so, she must have admitted to giving Olivia the potion that made her start drinking again. Olivia doesn't hate Annie--at least, not right now. She and Annie enter the church together, surprising A.J. and Bette, among others.

The Wedding: The ceremony begins; Tyus walks Vanessa down the aisle and gives her away. Vanessa's mother, Lena (now cured of her Martin's syndrome), looks on. Maria and Ross sit together. Michael and Vanessa recite their vows, then Ben and Meg do. Antonio pronounces the couples married.

The Dream: Suddenly, Meg wakes up back in Ludlow, Kansas. Her mother and her Aunt Bette tell her that her friends and family are waiting downstairs to wish her well before her wedding next week: her wedding to Tim! A confused Meg wonders what is going on. She goes downstairs and sees Tess, Gregory, Olivia, Annie, Brad, Amy, Tyus, and pretty much everyone else from Sunset Beach, all dressed in typical Midwestern clothing. Tim is also there, flirting with many of the women present. Meg announces that she had a dream, and they were all in it. In the dream, she went to Sunset Beach. It made her realize what love really is, and how none of them should settle for less than they deserve. The doorbell rings. Meg answers it, and Ben is there. He ran out of gas and wants to use the phone. He starts to introduce himself, but Meg already knows what his name is.

The End: Back in Sunset Beach, it is morning. Meg wakes up. She's with Ben. She tells him about her strange dream of being back in Kansas. Her life in Sunset Beach is real, Ben assures her.
