1. Our two-bit collection is for Build Hope. This collection goes toward the work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development and the Catholic Communication Campaign.

2. Regarding the Catholic presence in the communication media, you will notice a bulletin flier on Sacred Heart Radio. It features locally produced programs such as The Archbishop's Hour, Conversations with Father Bob, Sound Insight and Sisters in Christ.

3.At 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses: A few weeks ago, our new music coordinator conducted on survey on your preferences regarding music at Sunday Mass. She will now give a presentation the results of that survey. I ask you to, please, give your full to Mrs. Anca Wilson...

4. This Sunday we have information regarding I-1000 and 40 Days for Life. You are encouraged to participate in the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign which runs from September 24th to Nov 2nd. 40 Days for Life is an exciting pro-life opportunity to pray, witness, and reach out to others in our community, with the goal of seeking God's grace in converting hearts to His truth of the beauty of life and for an end to abortion. 40 Days for Life is in need of our help and participation. In the vestibule volunteers are eager to speak with us after Mass and answer any questions you may have. Also you can pick up free brochures and pamphlets regarding the Campaign Against Assisted Suicide. Next weekend we will have a guest speaker who will address the important issues raised by I-1000.

5. Please be sure to take home a bulletin. Besides the fliers on Sacred Heart Radio and Catholic Schools, you will find the San Lorenzo Ruiz Novena, Religious Education for children and high school students, RCIA for adult converts and inquirers, the English choirs and much more. Thank you.

1. La segunda colecta es para para "Construir Esperanza." Esta colecta apoya la Campaña Catolica para el Desarrollo Humano y la Campaña Catolica de Comunicacion. Sus contribuciones haran posible la presencia catolica en los medios de comunicacion.

2. Este domingo hay hermanos con informacion sobre la Iniciativa sobre Suicidio Asistido y Cuarenta Dias para la Vida. Este otoño unas 80 comunidades participarán en oracion, ayuno y vigilias a favor de niños no-nacidos desde el 26 de septiembre hasta el 4 de noviembre. Aqui en Seattle habra una vigilia pacifica y publica ante el "Planned Parenthood" del distrito de la Universidad. En la entrada de Roxbury hay representates de Cuarenta Dias Para la Vida y la Campaَña contra el Suicidio Asistido. Tienen folletos gratis con mayor informacion. El proximo domingo tendremos una presentacion especial sobre las enseñanzas catolica en relacion al fin de la vida.
