1. The two-bit collection this Sunday is for our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your donations will help our St. Vincent volunteers serve the poor in our own parish neighborhood.

2. Thank you for your donations last Sunday for the Randy Terlicker Scholarship Fund. A total of $2,421.78 was given in our seven weekend Masses. Randy’s mom – Mrs. Colleen Terlicker – will match that donation dollar for dollar, bringing the total to $4,843.56. This will be a great help to enable lower income families send their children to our parish school.

3. There will be no two-bit collection the next two weekends, as we concentrate our attention on the Annual Catholic Appeal. A Future Full of Hope is the theme for this year’s Appeal. Please reflect on the blessings you have received in your life and make a grateful response according to your means. You will be receiving a letter this week from the Archbishop regarding the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please support this vital Appeal by bringing your pledge envelope back on Commitment Sunday, May 4.

4. In Principal Glen Lutz’ School News column you will find information of interest to the entire parish. Also you will see a notice regarding the Young Adults’ Scripture Study and other important announcements. Please be sure to take home a bulletin and read it carefully. Thank you.

Usted estara recibiendo una carta esta semana del Arzobispo con respecto a la Peticion Catolica Annual, la cual yo apoyo y espero que usted la apoye tambien trayendo su carta de compromise de vuelta en el Domingo de Compromiso, 4 e Mayo.
