Announcements (November 23, 2008)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday is for St. Vincent de Paul. Your donations will help the needy in our own neighborhoods. Also at our Thanksgiving Day Mass, the entire collection will provide aid to the poor by way of St. Vincent de Paul and our Hispanic Mother Teresa group. You are invited to bring non-perishable food for the poor, as well as item of food from your own Thanksgiving table. The Mass begins at 9 a.m. this Thursday. Fr. Bloom has more information in his bulletin column.

2. Thank you to all who returned their Stewardship pledge card. In the vestibule you will find the list of 477 Pledge Parishioners. If your name is not on that list, please return your pledge card as soon as possible. Thank you for your support of Holy Family Parish. Remember, our parish goal is 650 pledges.

3. St. Martha's Sodality will provide a Free Parish Breakfast on Sunday, December 7 - two weeks from today. Please plan on joining fellow parishioners for a delicious breakfast and fellowship.

4. Our school 7th and 8th graders will be attending the annual March for Life in Olympia on January 20. We have some room on the bus for adult parishioners. If you wish participate, you can get more information in the vestibule after Mass or from the bulletin.

5. Next Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of a new liturgical year. You can pick up your 2008-2009 Sunday Missal in the vestibule for a donation of five dollars.

6. Holy Family School is offering free classes in English as a second language and in Spanish for English speakers. The bulletin has the time and number to call for further information.

7. The bulletin also contains information on volunteer opportunities, religious education for children and teens, retreats for adults - and much more. Please take home a copy and read it carefully.

Avisos (16 de noviembre de 2008)

1. La segunda colecta es para ayudar a los necesitados de nuestra comunidad por medio de Madre Teresa. Igualmente, la colecta de la misa del Dia de Accion de Gracias (Thanksgiving) sera para esa finalidad. En la misa hay colecta de comida para los pobres - y bendicion de comida (pan, postre, etc.) que se puede llevar para su propia cena de Thanksgiving. La misa comienza a las 9 a.m. este jueves. Hay mas detalles en la columna del Padre Felipe.

2. Gracias a todos que han devuelto su compromiso de Co-Responsabilidad. En la entrada hay la lista de 477 Feligres de Compromiso. Si su nombre no esta en la lista, devolver su tarjeta lo mas antes posible. Gracias por su apoyo a nuestra parroquia. Recuerden que nuestra meta es 650 compromisos.

3. Habra un desayuno gratis en dos semanas, despues de la misa de 9:30. Hay mas informacion en el boletin.

4. Tambien el boletin tiene un aviso sobre la March Pro-Vida en enero. Hay espacio en bus que llevara niños de nuestra escuela parroquial.

5. En el boletin hay un aviso sobre clases de inglés - los dias martes a las 6 p.m. en nuestra escuela. Las clases son gratis. Favor de llevar un boletin para otros avisos importantes - y un mensaje del Padre Felipe. El boletin es gratis y tiene mucha informacion importante en inglés y español.
