1. Our second collection is for Peter’s Pence. The Peter’s Pence Collection enables the Holy Father to respond with immediate emergency assistance to the most disadvantaged throughout the world – those who suffer as a result of war, oppression, and natural disasters. More than 1 billion Catholics worldwide participate in the Collection as an active expression of Christ’s love for the poor. More than 98 cents of every dollar contributed goes to the pope’s spiritual and charitable works. Please join Catholics throughout the world, in supporting the works of Pope Benedict XVI.
2. This weekend Pope Benedict has inaugurated the “Year of St. Paul.” Please pick up a copy of the Novena in Honor of St. Paul – and pray it this week in your home.
3. Summer is upon us, and it is typical that our donations take a drop during this time of year. To keep this from happening, before leaving on that well-deserved vacation, please consider making your Stewardship contribution by using our new on-line donation program. Simply go to our web-site and click on “Support Holy Family” and you can make a donation using your credit card. You may also make donations for your Capital Campaign pledge, School Annual Fund, Randy Terlicker Endowment and the Mary Bloom Center. Please help Holy Family stay in the black this summer. 4. This week we welcome Fr. Armando Red. He will celebrate the Tuesday morning Mass and, together with Fr. Bloom, will be available for confessions this Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The bulletin has more information about Fr. Red.
5. Please come over the hall after Mass for a Farewell Celebration for Fr. Ramon. After the 11 a.m. Mass we will have a potluck in the parish hall.

1. La segunda colecta es para el Obolo de San Pedro – para apoyar las obras apostolicas y caritativas del Santo Padre. El proximo fin de semana comenzamos la celebracion del cumpleaños 2000 de San Pablo. Es un momento importante para apoyar al Santo Padre, el Papa Benedicto XVI. En las mesas a las entradas del templo hay copias de la Novena en Honor a San Pablo.
2. Esta semana damos la bienvenida del Padre Armando Red. El va a remplazar al Padre Ramon como Vicario Parroquial de Holy Family. El Padre Armando, junto con el Padre Felipe, estará disponible para confesiones este jueves, de 6 a 8 p.m.
3. Favor de llevar un boletin para informacion sobre Requisitos para Sacramentos y Quinceañeras. En el boletin hay un volante verde sobre el “Campamento del Verano” con un mensaje del Obispo Eusebio Elizondo invitando a los padres que envien sus hijos al Campamento del Verano de la Organización de Jovenes Catolicos. Tambien en el boletin hay los resultados de las colectas – y un mensaje del Padre Felipe.
