Announcements (April 8, 2007)

1. The two-bit collection on this Easter Sunday is for the support of seminarians and retired priests. The education of future priests and the care of infirm priests is an important part of the Annual Catholic Appeal which begins toward the end of this month. Your donations today will go toward Holy Family's 2007-2008 Annual Appeal goal.

2. On Monday, April 9, the Bloodmobile will be on site here at Holy Family Parish. Please call Bob Youngs, whose number is in the bulletin, to reserve a time.

3. Next Sunday morning our Knights of Columbus will offer a delicious pancake, French toast and sausage breakfast. Your participation will support the great work of our parish Knights of Columbus

4. Our parish choirs are seeking new members. Please see the notice in the bulletin for how you can participate in this important ministry.

5. Also we are looking for people who have compassionate hearts to become St. Vincent de Paul volunteers. St. Vincent de Paul serves the needy right in our own parish. The bulletin contains an explanation of their great work.

6. Holy Family School has openings in all grades, pre-K through 8th, for the 2007-2008 school year. Principal Glen Lutz’ column in the bulletin has further details.

7. This Tuesday evening we have the first of two classes for parents and godparents of children to be baptized. Please see Fr. Ramon Velasco for more details.

8. The bulletin contains information about sacramental preparation, confession times and much more. Please be sure to take a copy on your way home. Happy Easter to all!
