Wooden floors are a rarity now-a-days with roller skating rinks..  My son says, "the floor is a lot softer to fall on."  They offer parties, and various games during the skating session to keep things exciting.  The sound system has an echo effect, which can throw off your rhythm somewhat while you skate around.  The floor is large with a few defects-that's the problem with wooden floors.  The floor is coated with a blue probably a plastic type coating.  It has a good grip and you should not have any problems skating around.

The pro shop offers a large variety of skates and the rental skates look to be in decent shape.  Their lack of video games to me is a plus.  You are there to skate and not play games.  Skating is good exercise, you can always play games elsewhere.  They have a few games though, air-hockey.  The offer adult pick-up hockey games, which is the only rink in this area to do so.
