Owing to the fact that during this
year the Departments falling within this Office started to form part of
two separate Ministries, the post of Director General for Social and Family
Affairs was left vacant and this Office ceased to function. The duties
pertaining to this post were then temporarily assigned to the various Directors
of the Department concerned. Hence no Report for this Office was
drawn up for this year.
