Such is vastly different from current State car-insurance requirements tied in to peace officer monitoring, because not everyone has a motorized vehicle nor is forced to buy and have a licensed motor vehicle.

As several Republicans have stated, across-state-lines competition of unfettered-away-from-government-restrictions private insurance companies would result in lower costs for consumers far more than price-control threatening and interference from government regulators. Remember that when it's time to vote in the 2010 elections!
