PSALM 8:2 = By the mouth of babes and infants, You have founded a bulwark, because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

PSALM 37:7 = Be still in the LORD's presence, and wait patiently for him....

PSALM 46:10 = Be still, and know that I am God. I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!

PSALM 76:8 = From the heavens You did declare judgment; the earth feared and was still.

ISAIAH 5:25 = Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against His people, and He stretched out His hand against them and struck them: the mountains quaked, and their corpses were as garbage in the middle of the streets. For all this, His anger is not turned away, and His hand is stretched out still.

ISAIAH 9:17 = Therefore the Lord does not rejoice over their young men, and has no compassion on their fatherless and widows, because every one is godless and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks foolishness. For all this, His anger is not turned away, and His hand is stretched out still.

EZEKIEL 5:11 = Wherefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, I will therefore surely cut you down; My eye will not spare, and I will have no pity.

EZEKIEL 35:11 = Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will act toward you according to the anger and envy which you showed because of your hatred against them, and I will make Myself known among you, when I judge you.

ROMANS 14:11 = It is written: 'As I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.'

ZECHARIAH 2:13 = Be silent, all flesh, in the LORD's presence, because He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling.

PSALM 115:17 = The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence.

HABAKKUK 2:20 = But the LORD is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence in His presence.

I PETER 2:15 = It is God's will that by doing right you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Some say that human death is natural, another phenomenon that merely "came with the terrority" of evolutionary origins. Nothing to think much about. Nothing to be concerned about. Another normal, common, and everyday thing with no special or moral meaning associated with it. Let's get on with life, and not get fixated and hung up with with the morbid, boring, and depressing.

Others look at a dead human in the mortuary - carefully and quietly observing the chest not moving, the body stiff and without typical warmth, the eyes and lips sealed, the nose without any breath whatsoever - and wonder: "What IS this STRANGE occurrence? WHAT is going ON here? WHY has this happened? WHAT is WRONG with this picture? Can SOMETHING be DONE about this? CAN this RIDICULOUS, USELESS, and EMBARRASING thing be UNDONE, and PREVENTED from happening to OTHERS?

Whatever the attitude by whoever and all, one thing is certain:

The lifeless body, the shell of the departed soul, is NOT MOVING.

COMPLETELY, PERMANENTLY, and TOTALLY motionless.

Whether or not the soul who inhabited that body was or wanted to be obedient to God to be still and be quiet, they (when dead) are PERFECTLY OBEDIENT to that command of their Creator.

Moreover, as the Lord ordered them to cease from immorality, greed, envy, jealousy, pride, strife, contention, mischief, foolish talk, cruel sarcasm, seditious gossip, assault, homicidal violence, and blasphemy.....they (when dead) are COMPLETELY COMPLIANT to God's requests and demands.

There is ABSOLUTE peace. 100% submission to the INERRANT and INFALLIBLE Word and will of Jesus Christ.

NOT that such IMPECCABLE obedience, compliance, and submission will assuredly do MOST of them any good on Resurrection and Judgment Day, because the immoral majority of them who were on the broad and easy road to destruction and not on the narrow and hard path to heaven did NOT LIKE NOR DESIRE to comply with the Holy One.

But, for those who DID intend and (to varying degrees) voluntarily, respectfully, and reverently succeed in obeying God while yet alive, the "spirits of just men" have indeed been made perfect [as it states in Hebrews chapter 12] for eternal salvation and everlasting life to be soon and gloriously revealed.

JOB 19:25 = I know that my Redeemer lives, and at last He will stand upon the earth. And after my flesh has been destroyed, from my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see on my side, and my eyes shall observe....

JOHN 11:11 = Thus He spoke, and then He said to them: 'Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awake him out of sleep.'

LUKE 7:14 = And He came and touched the casket, and the pallbearers stood still. And He said: 'Young man, I say to you.......arise.'
