Discriminate?

Should government officials and civilian citizens "discriminate?"

What is meant by "discrimination?"

To some, to discriminate means to censor certain things away from certain people for certain causes......to deny certain things to certain people.....to restrict the opportunity of some to acquire or have what others are not restricted from acquiring or having. Essentially, it involves non-fairly stifling and thwarting certain people with a disadvantageous incapacity to access or attain what they should be given liberty to access or attain, while others are thus given a non-fair advantage instead.

To those against discrimination, not only are certain people despised, rejected, and shunned...but they are humiliatingly deemed inferior and non-qualified for wrong causes - such as because of bigotry, prejudice, superstitions (religious or other types), disinformation, false assessment - either as a group or individually.

As should be apparent to everyone, the environment people are born into and freely live within is not intrinsically hostile to survival. The natural phenomena we see and hear and feel in our natural habitat is not one that deprives us of opportunity to do whatever we want and whatever we choose within its given framework. There is no prejudice nor bigotry nor condemnation in the natural world - except that emanating from human aberrations which the harsh, cruel, and loveless impose against the oppressed and abused.

Hence, assuming (and not "presuming") that all around us has been created, its Creator (however such has been, is now, or will be identified) is basically benevolent (and upon deeper contemplation: entirely benevolent) in that what the Intelligent Designer designed intelligently for those with the intelligence to perceive intelligent design is not only benign and therefore not judgmentally nor unfairly harmful nor prejudicial against anyone, but is even comfortably accomodating (especially on warm sunny spring days by a beautiful clear-blue-water lake and snow-capped mountains in the scenic distance clothed with magnificent forests of fir trees.....as one example.....or at exciting beach surf on a lovely white-sanded Bahama or Hawaiian beach with gorgeous palm trees waving in the warm breeze). It is not "God" who causes pollution and toxic waste, and "The Lord" is not to be faulted nor blamed for the ignorant or deliberate errancies of homo sapiens.

But doesn't He let it happen? Does He not allow people to prejudicially and unfairly discriminate and oppress others in spiteful and hateful bigotry? Since He obviously does, is He thus being unfair Himself?

One of the things genuinely open-minded scientists have discovered in their never-ending search for the meaning of life and natural phenomena related to that is: The HOLY BIBLE. Hopefully, the reader is not so bigoted and prejudiced as to non-scientifically exhibit immediate and senseless asinine and causeless discrimination against that Unique Source of Truth. Of course, if such rebellious and arrogant idiots and imbeciles crave the deplorable and despicable insanity of separating church from state to that extent, they will prejudicially disassociate themselves mindlessly away from that which they should not disassociate themselves from.

In Scripture, we not only find examples of prejudiced and bigotry-based discrimination, but also instances of understandable and legitimate discrimination.
And what - we might ask - is "legitimate" and "understandable" discrimination? IS there such a thing? CAN there BE such a thing?

When was the last time you needed to urinate or defecate when you were out in public view? Where did you go: to the Men's lavatory, or instead the Women's lavatory? If you chose one but not the other according to your either/or gender, you discriminated - but not illegally.

Have you walked up to any bare-legged woman at random in public view and start feeling up and down her nude legs bared by shorts? Remove her sandals from her socksless feet and commence massaging her barefootedness? Slip your hand under the front or back of her panties? If not, you have discriminated against or for her by not only suppressing that sexual activity with her, but also discriminated by not doing so in general public (rather than private) view. If married, you discriminate for your spouse by performing the aforementioned erotic caressing on them only and in private (not public) view at that.

Certainly, you can think of MANY other situations of proper and expected discrimination involving traffic controls, highway signs, power station warnings, pharmaceutical instructions, industrial regulations and operations, and on and on.

Again, what is the purpose of needed and acceptable discrimination (related to: discretion) in contrast to harmful and wrong discrimination?

Is it not for the wellbeing and enjoyment of those who deserve wellbeing and enjoyment.....and - conversely - for the punishment and dismay of those who do not deserve wellbeing and enjoyment?

And why would some deserve punishment and dismay in relation to applications of legitimate discrimination and deprivation?

Simply because those who mischoose and misuse the free resources they have cause insult and injury to those who do not deserve to be insulted and injured. Such lawbreakers and trouble-causers rightly deserve all the discrimination and punishment they deserve for doing such evil and wickedness against the innocent.

Regarding just punishment, who should apply it? The Creator - using His natural phenomena the wrongly-discriminatory fight against and always lose to - the severity of which is in proportion to the degree(s) of their infraction(s)?
How about the improper discriminator punishing himself or herself when violating the principles and items of benign and already-established nature - injuring themself and [even suicidally] suffering the due penalty for their mistakes (or sins, depending upon your point of view)?
How about other people punishing them, whether neighbors, retailers, police, judges, and/or executioners?

Here again, both the Old and New Testaments of The Bible cite historical records of just and injust discrimination....and the righteous and wicked causes for both types of discrimination.

Guided by that, all people can correctly discriminate for who they should discriminate for, and discriminate against who they should discriminate against....for their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others.
