Justice

Any situation or circumstance where the mis-action of someone or a group of someones hurts another or a group of anothers, retributional action must be done by the someone or someones who inflicted the harm (whether reparations or suicide), by the another or anothers harmed (criticism, firing, eviction, arrest, conviction, fines, imprisonment, capital punishment not considered "murder," etc.), or a legitimately-concerned third-party entity or Entity possibly more powerful and with more authority than either or both the injurer and injured.

Why? "It's only fair!"

What would be the consequence and consequences if the errancy and errancies of someone or a group of someones were not requited with retribution?

In essence, that society of someones would chaotically self-destruct and annihilate themselves, let alone even - to some extent - the environment surrounding that society. Such annihilation is not what their Creator intended nor intends.

God (The Creator) has, according to His divinely-inspired book, The HOLY BIBLE, clearly indicated His desire for 'survival of the fittest' as He defines "fittest." The reader of this webpage could and should delve deeper into exploring those His purposes by actually reading as much Scripture as possible pertaining to such.

Now, retaliation against wrongdoers is always considered punishment. It might also be an attempt of correction. It matters not whether or not the evildoer (and/or supporters of such) who has COMMITTED (and not "performed") what the Lord has determined to be SIN and what the law defines as CRIME....assumes or presumes he or she deserves punishment as to whether or not they should be punished for their misdeed or misdeeds. Whatever such offenders think or mis-think is irrelevant in terms of whether or not they should and/or actually are punished. "It goes without saying" that they not only should be punished but also in fact they will be punished, sooner or later.

Also mentioned as secondary was the element of correction. Such is secondary because such correction concurrent with and/or following the punishment might or might not occur, depending upon the severity of punishment and then (if not to the point of execution) IF the offender in reality will be corrected or not in accord with their own choice and free will. Correction is, of course, the preferred optional response and result, but such in no way effects the punishment applied and needed to be applied to (not "imposed" against) the wicked to blame for and causing the problem(s).

Last Sunday I heard the rector sermonize about the concept of "grace." Being catholic-minded in which his own sacrifice of eucharist and whatever supposedly supplements his [presumed?] salvation, he was not able to adequately define 'grace' in contrast to the ease which some protestants might define it. This webauthor was brought up understanding that God's grace is non-merited favor - and I guess the "non-merited" part is indeed difficult to understand or accept for arrogant cultic catholics self-justifying themselves with their own peculiar religious traditions, rituals, humanly-concocted liturgy and self-sacrificing creeds, robes, and dogma.

But WHERE is the justice in view of God's non-deserved non-merited favor to and for us? How does that relate to mandatory punishment against not merely the sin but especially the sinner? [After all, how can abstract sins per se be punished physically and spiritually both temporally and eternally rather than the sinners who sin? No more can "terrorism" be apprehended instead of the terrorists who commit terrorism.]

Why give non-deserved Divine favor to anyone - either penitent or impenitent? For what cause would or should such be done? Why should God "send His rain on the just and on the injust?" Why should God "so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son?" If a homogay or feminist or evolutionist comes to a 4-way-stopsign intersection first, should they not wait for the vehicle of an authentic Christian to proceed first? Should such grace be given in lieu of punishment? Where is the justice in that?

In the case of the penitent, it is God's perogative as to the type and extent of punishment applied for misdeed mistakes done (usually neither deliberately nor maliciously) by the penitent. It is HIS perogative also as to the type and extent of punishment applied for misdeeds done by the impenitent.

We should remember that the LORD Himself was responsible for placing the tree of temptation in the primordial Garden of Eden, knowing full well the probability of Murphy's Law happening ("Anyone that CAN go wrong WILL go wrong"). Weaker-gender/gullible Eve and then yes-man/people-pleaser Adam invaribly failed, and their offspring have been failing ever since.

Hence, the need for grace, being that God - in His divine wisdom - presented a tempting stumblingblock to our human and fallible ancestors. As Saint Paul stated, God 'consigned all to sin that He might have mercy on all.' In one sense, our reply is: "Thanks a lot for nothing" followed by: "Thanks for You providing a way out through grace."

The Ultimate Expression of grace given to us fallible humans is Jesus Christ, who is our Key to unlock and enter everything good and right and true and just and beautiful both now and eternally....plus forever be removed from everything bad and wrong and false and injust and ugly both now and eternally.

Note the word "eternally" used. The allowance of temptation because of the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil is also Divinely compensated for by the everlastingness of destinies. Obviously for an omnipoent omnipresent Creator who ALWAYS does EVERYTHING in a BIG way [please ponder myriad examples of that for a while], God intends to phenomenally reward those in a COLOSSAL way whoever accepts His grace "to the ages of the ages" - and conversely, to phenomenally burn and continue to non-relentingly burn in the Outer-Darkness Lake of Fire those in perpetual anguish who refuse His grace "to the ages of the ages."

There IS real justice in THAT, both for the redeemed who always wanted to thank, bless, and praise God as much as possible, and for the accursed damned who always wanted to complain, revile, and curse God as much as possible.
