- - - - - - - - - - - Hello, my friends! On Tuesday 5 August 2003 I went on a business trip to one landfill. This site had a problem with the quality of the leachate after biological treatment. This biological stage consists of an aerobic lagoon and wetlands. The samples showed us high indexes of nitrogen. Actually, the active sludge works no too good. We put in the lagoon a new active sludge and 2 weeks later the nitrogen index dropped 3 times less. It is marvellous.
