The Cherub Angelfish is one of the most popular and reef safe dwarf angels to keep.  Never reaching more than 3 inches in the home aquarium, the Cherub Angelfish can sometimes be mildly aggressive.  A diet high in vegetable matter should be supplied, with a variety of vitamins supplemented for optimal health.  While most dwarf angels are prone to nipping at corals, the Cherub ANgel is nearly 100% reef safe.*

Selecting the Cherub Angelfish for me was a lengthy process.  At first, I wanted the Flame Angelfish, but price, aggression, and habits led me away from the beautiful fish.  Secondly, I wanted the Coral Beauty, but the same reasons (minus price) came up yet again, also this fish .  Set on a dwarf angel though, I did not give up.  It was then when I saw the Cherub Angel at my LFS.  I thought they were ugly and colorless from the pictures I'd seen on the web, but in person, the electric blue highlights, and vivid yellow snout this fish had captivated me.  With further research, I discovered the Cherub Angelfish would be dieal for an aquairum like mine.  Not to big, fairly peaceful, hardy, and interesting.  To this day, the Angel has not caused any problems, is very healthy, has a geat diet, and constantly interacts with the other fish in a frinedly manor.  Seeing this fish swim in and out of the rock tunnels and caves of my tank reminds me what this hobby is all about.
