"Roots" - SEPULTURA Death-metal, thrash-metal and Brazilian percussion. This was heavy with a world music edge and Sepultura pulled it off like they were born to do this, which, if one looks at it, is pretty much the case. Interspersed by moments of chanting by the Xavantes tribe, tracks like 'Roots Bloody Roots' and 'Attitude' swung into action like planet-levelling wrecking balls. Heavy-metal was never the same again.
