Busy! Busy! Busy!

These days, impossibly busy schedules, packed with the kids' practices and games, coaching, scouting, school activities, carpooling and sheer exhaustion, preclude more frequent gatherings of the supabowlgang. But as the saying goes, "The road to a friend's house is never long."

When the supabowlgang gets together, as they did in June, they -- adults and kids, alike -- pick up where they left off.  

Potluck food, hugs and kisses, talking story and lots of laughter are standard fare. The Uncles light up the grill, and the Aunties bring out the dishes.  And sometimes, it's the other way around.

The kids load up first.  And everybody grinds.
