Yapping
"Yapping"

Those hounds --
Were yapping
Again last night
Has he returned --
To his haunted
Haunting post
Is he circling
The perimeter
As the mindless
  Storm's LIAR
Striding softly
In the bleakness
Of his life's tide
  We can't know
We haven't looked
Into that darkness
We haven't strained --
  Our weary eyes
Into the blackness
Pitch impenetrable ebony
Where only cowards --
Perpetrate stealthily
  Belly slithering
For an opportunity
  Sick adventures
We understand yet --
  Don't comprehend
More than we've --
  Learned over time
It isn't worth --
   Our efforts
   To LOOK
   Any longer.
