Crystal Tears
They live in dreams
Over mountain's towers
Crashing into stars
Drifting through streams
  Cascading as desires
  Racing over bridges
Of stone-faced harshness
  Taunting the moon
As night loons calling
  Daring those fugues
Revealed in deep waters
Another gold-laden vision
  Sinking into sand
  To taste each other
    One more time
As tides are lingering
Beyond the perimeter
  And their bodies
  Tarry too boldly
All wrapped in sash
  Hiding that sight
From frightened eyes
  Unwilling to see
Everything tangible
  Everything silken
Too smooth and --
   Too sinewy
Dancing above Quartz
Laid down as marble
Inviting another dance
  And their laughter
Remains infinitely captured
  Inside an Opal's depth
Impenetrable and changing
Ridiculing each impossibility
  As palms duly washed
In harsh crystal tears
  Cannot touch them ---
   Within such dreams.
