The perfect way
Perhaps not --
With the correct
FORMULA
But she tried
She always tried
He couldn't --
Bring himself
To her
And he didn't try
Not once
Not in any way
Thus whatever --
There was
However miniscule
However splendorous
It never happened
And never could
It reveal itself
Perhaps this is why --
Fate ruled wishes
Refusing her efforts
Though she always --
Tried.
