Routines
"Routines"

Tonight I'll sleep
Thickly into morning
Tomorrow I'll drive
To the grocery store
  Run some errands
Purchase some supplies
I need to make a list
Of the foods we need
I keep reminding myself
That this is beneficial
  A morale booster
  Something worthwhile
  A typical pattern
  A simple routine
  It used to be --
     Much easier
It required no effort
To complete such tasks
  Now it's complicated
I can barely maneuver
Myself through the thought
Of these simplistic chores
   Too many insanity(s)
  I did not create
     Any of them
Too much victimhood
  I did not request
      Any of this
I've tried everything
  I could contemplate
     To free myself
   From such dire --
Circumstantial complications.
