Everything is fragmented --
Wisps of memory
Ask me something
UNIQUE
And when he does --
I'M LAUGHING
He's says the quirkiest
Things imaginable
I'd do anything
To prod him to speak
To say anything at all!
My long brunette tresses
Fly into the wind
Carefree and undaunted
My blue eyes dancing
My ears tickled
To hear something more
Another something to --
Chew on, To ponder
To roll over the grass
And plunge into snow
And drive my steed
Through the willow's -
Soft fluttered branches
OVER IT ALL
I remember him --
From somewhere
Another life?
He's beautiful
INDEED
I'm transfixed
By his every detail
His dark curls
Flutter in the breeze
Everything mellows
Slows to, Nearly halts
Within his presence
His almond eyes sparkle
Some secret treasure
Mischievously alluring
Glitters within them
Something I must know
Everything I must know
Everything is fragmented --
Wisps of memory
TODAY
Unlike my yesterdays
When all followed
A predictable path
Alas in comparison --
It was a foreseeable
Deceptively soothing
Future of promises
ONCE.
