Me once again
It's eerie voice --
Reverberates softly
Out of necessity
The crematorium awaits
The can anticipates
Yet another stack
Of rough draft pages
As the hounds bark
Pricking their ears
Raising their hides
Their tails stiffened
Their eyes focused --
Fixed in one direction
Perhaps he's watching
Night glasses in hand
Wondering what's next
Nothing noteworthy
Beyond those pages --
Yet another collection
He'll NEVER steal!
Within another time --
I was the least,
Interesting
Victim he could've found
I remain unnoteworthy
Within sanity's realm
Yet he exists outside --
Any space of rationality
Indeed is it so always
He is a specter --
Embracing the darkness
As all of his species
Do infinitely until they --
Are properly caged
Caged or disposed of --
They are defective animals
Without a facility's
Cure of confinement.
