In fact, my disguise is so thin, and

I am surprised that you haven't seen me right through it.

 I am the man of your dreams masquerading as your best friend.

  Sometimes, I want to take off this facade to reveal my true identity and expose myself.

  But, I am frightened that you would run away like you usually did.

I do not want to lose you.

I would rather have you as my best friend than not to have you at all in my life.

So, I decided to live with a lie.
