Father
of three and sadly missed by us
My
dad was a wonderful man who left us suddenly and without a chance to say
goodbye. This is my way of saying, "I love you dad and I miss you every
day!!!" He left behind many people who will miss him dearly. I know he is
an angel now and he will watch over his family every day!!
Dad,
thank you for everything you ever did for us. We miss you so much. You will be
in our hearts and in our minds forever. Even though our time with you was short,
you have had an impact that will never be forgotten and will always be apparent
in our every day lives. You have touched our lives in a way that only a father
can. Your love will always be appreciated by the people you loved and cared for.
May your smile brighten our lives, your footsteps walk through our hearts and
may our love surround you wherever you are

If
my father read this, I'd like him to know:
I love you so much, and I'm sorry for anything bad that I
may have done to you. I hope you are proud of the life I've lived so far
and I hope that the life I continue to live makes you proud also. I didn't
realize this until after you left, but you have been such an inspiration
to me. I hope that when my time comes to leave this world, that I can
leave it as dignified as you did. You were such a fighter, and you never
let anyone know you were scared, you are an inspiration to everyone that
knew you...and you've left such a great legacy behind. When you left a
piece of me went with you, but there's always going to be an extra special
place in my heart for you. When I have children some day, I will tell them
all about you and how much you meant to me. I never wanted to say
goodbye, and I never will. So I will just say see you later....and until
we met again...I love you.

Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the
Lord.
Across
the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each
scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonged to him, and
the other to the Lord.
When the last scene
of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He
noticed that many times along the path of his life there were only one set of
footprints.
He also
noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This
really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord,
you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I
have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
There is
only one set of footprints.
I don't understand
why, when I need you the most, you would leave me."
The Lord
replied, "my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave
you.
During
your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it
was then that I carried you."
PSALM
23: VERSES 1 THROUGH 6
THE
LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT.
HE
MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES:
HE
LEADETH ME BESIDE STILL WATERS.
HE
RESTORETH MY SOUL:
HE
LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTOUSNESS FOR HIS NAMES SAKE.
