Do you know what shapes are? Everything is made in the form of a shape. I will show you different shapes and then you can look around your house to find things that look like these shapes.

I'll bet you have one of these in your house.

This is a ball and a ball is in the shape of a circle. Ask Mommy to help you draw a circle. Can you see other things that look like a circle?

This shape is a square. It has four sides. Do you have anything in your house that looks like a square? Now try to draw the square.

This next shape has four sides just like the square but it looks different. The top and the bottom sides are the same size, see;

and the short sides are the same size. This shape is called a rectangle. Does Mommy have a picture on the wall that looks like this shape?

This is a triangle. This shape has only three sides and they are all the same. And what kind of shapes are inside of this triangle? Can you tell? If you said circle, you are right! Hooray!!!!!

The next shape we have I bet you can find in your refrigerator. This is an oval, and eggs are shaped like ovals.
