This book is about how a woman in the Eighteen Century lived in the Broch. It is her story, how she lost those dear to her & how life changed with the industrial age. It is a very real life story. Highly recommended to see a different way of life then there is today......

This book overlaps Christian Watt, written by her grand daughter, & tells how her life, not so different than her grandmother's, growing up in Broadsea. Highly recommended as a must read as a follow-up to the Christian Watt Papers.....

This book is about the early settlers, there are numerous accouts of personal experiences of Southern Alberta, now known as Iron Springs, what life was like at the time of the Early Ranchers, Homesteaders and Early Settlers. Great to read about pioneer life ......
If you find these books difficult to find I recommend you check School Libraries. They are Historical Books & this may be the only place you will be able to view them. Please remember that some private libraries do at times charge for their books as most are out of print & by no means can be replaced. I found them most interesting because they are about our families & do give account of the time in which they lived.
