John Crane


John Crane was a cast member on Roundhouse for all 4 seasons of the show. He is known for his role as 'Dad' (or 'Dad Anyday' for that matter). His character used a motorized LA-Z Boy chair to move about. The chair came complete with different rotating props including a television and a working BBQ. John also wrote many skits and songs for Roundhouse.

Other than Roundhouse his credits include playing 'Joe' in the movie Body Waves (see review in RH newsletter). You can also catch him in Bloodfist IV: Die Trying, Alien Avengers, Richie Rich's Christmas Wish, and Murder Live! He has also made appearances on the TV shows 'Night Stand', The Love Boat: The Next Wave, and Baywatch. In 1999 he wrote and starred in a play called "Choppy" for the Groundlings Theater. He currently is writing episodes for the cartoons Johnny Bravo and CatDog.
