From the creator of the X-Files comes MILLENNIUM. "A series about the struggle between forces of good and evil as the turn of the millennium approaches." Lance Henriksen ("Aliens", "The Terminator") is Frank Black, an ex-FBI agent whose ability to enter the minds of killers has come as both a blessing and a curse. Megan Gallagher is Frank's wife Catherine, a clinical social worker who deals with the other side of Frank's work, the victims and their families. Brittany Tiplady is Frank and Catherine's daughter, Jordan, a sweet little girl. Terry O'Quinn is Peter Watts, a senior member of the Millennium Group and the man responsible for bringing Frank in. Bill Smitrovitch was seasoned Seattle homicide detective Lt. Bob Bletcher, an old friend and collegue of Frank's from his earlier days with the Seattle police department.

MillenniuM's first season was chiefly in the hands of its creator, Chris Carter. After a mental breakdown, mainly due to the fear for his family's safety, Frank has moved his family back to Seattle from Washington DC. He is doing some "consulting" for the mysterious "Millennium Group". He uses his special abilities to help authorities solve difficult cases, mostly murders. He is often called upon by his old friend from the Seattle PD, Lt. Bob Bletcher. Sadly, Bletch is murdered in the basement of Frank and Catherine's yellow house by an unknown person who is believed to be Lucy Butler, a suspect in the case Frank was working at that time. Frank blames himself for Bletch's death. Soon after, Frank's past catches up with him. His greatest fear comes true when Catherine is abducted in the season one finale.

For the second season, Chris Carter turned the show over to two veteran writers of The X-Files, Glen Morgan and James Wong. Morgan and Wong brought the show away from the so-called "serial killer of the week" format and added more mystery, prophecy and spirituality. Frank tracks down Catherine's abducter and kills him, causing a rift between Frank and Catherine. They are soon separated, moving from the yellow house they had come to love. Throughout the season, Frank deals with killers and prophecy as well has his own inner demons. He is joined by another candidate of the Millennium Group, Lara Means who is played by Kristen Cloke (Space: Above and Beyond). The MillenniuM Group's true agenga comes to light. They do not want to aide in turning of the millennium, but, instead, want control. In the last two episodes, a plague is infecting the world. The members and candidates off the Millennium Group are vacinated but their families are left to fend for themselves. Lara Means becomes a full member of the Millennium Group and procedes to have a nervous breakdown because of what she now knows. Somehow, she manages to get her share of the plague antidote to Frank who, in turn, uses it on Jordan. Frank tries to take his family away to a remote cabin in the woods to shield them from this disease but is unsucsessful. Catherine develops the first signs of the plague and disappears into the woods leaving Frank alone with Jordan.

The first episode of season three has finally aired and Chris Carter has taken control of the show once again. After the death of Catherine, Frank has moved himself and Jordan back to Washington DC in hopes of a new start. Jordan is now closer to her grandparents (Catherine's parents) who will be helping Frank to take care of her even though Catherine's father blames Frank for her death. Frank has gone back to the FBI as a consultant and meets up with a young FBI agent named Emma Hollis . She is intrigued with Frank and his reputation and wants to work with him.

MillenniuM airs Friday nights at 9:00pm EST/8:00pm CST on the Fox network.
