Dear Dana Scully,

Hello.

So how's your summer vacation? Are you back from Africa yet?

My summer vacation was boring. I have fond memories of watching the "X-Files" movie every day in the theater as I had last summer, and I'm looking forward to 2001. Do you know how many times I'd watched your old episodes of the "X-Files" during the summer? I couldn't give you a precise detail of how many times per day, but I've seen every single episode of yours at least twenty times each. I guess that's how obsessive I am.

How's your partner, Fox Mulder?

I hope he's all right. Has he "read" your mind about your real feelings towards him? I wonder if knows the truth of how you feel towards him. Don't deny it, Dana. I'm getting sick and tired seeing the two of you "deny" how much you love one another.

This season, here's my wish: I want you to admit to Mulder of how much you love him. I want you to reveal your love for him. He had already put the feelers in already with the almost kiss from the movie and the "I love you" in the episodes "Pusher" and "Triangle" but now, it's your turn to reveal your feelings towards him.

I hope you'll heed my advice because I feel the both of you deserve some true happiness...with each other, if you know what I mean.

Sincerely yours,
Erin Maureen Blair

Feedback: Much appreciated and welcomed. I love hearing from readers. As for flames, I will use them to line my cat's litter box. As Fox Mulder said in "Arcadia": "Bring it on!"

Author's Notes: This was the "Letter Assignment" in my English 4A-Creative Writing course. The assignment was to write a letter (you don't have to send it) to someone you know or a fictional character. I was going to write one to Gillian Anderson or David Duchovny, but Dana Scully popped into my head. I received a very good grade on this assignment and thought I would share this with all of you. I hope you'll like this as well as I had writing it.
