The Carpenters came for their first time and only one visit to Brazil in November 1981. They arrived on Nov' 1^st; at Galeão International Airport, in Rio de Janeiro. They visited the town, recorded two video clips for Globo TV Network (one of them at the top of the Corcovado), and gave interviews to radio stations (in both Rio and São Paulo) and even walked thru Copacabana beach as well as visiting Shopping Centres (Rio and Sao Paulo).

From this commercial visit, the best recall are these three photographs, two being taken from Congonhas airport (São Paulo), on november 5^th and the last one from the TV appearances.
