Me, I and Myself

I am a 16 year old girl from Singapore and obviously the pictures that you are and will be seeing here are all from my childhood.  I have not excactly included my present pictures as I am not very satisfied with the teenage version of this kid.

I am born in Kadang Kerbua Hospital in Singapore on the 18th of Spetember 1980 ( no need to send me presents ) and the first home I lived in was at Outram Park where we had a cupboard made up of cardboard boxes.  At the age of three,  me and my parents went to London to stay for 1 year which I have absolutly no recollection of.

When I came back to Singapore, I was sent to Green Pastures in Bukit Timah which I consider as my kindergarden school.  It is a Christian school and I remembered having to say prayers before every meal.  I don't excatly remember the lyrics of the song but I know the last part went something like this

" Thank you god for the food we eat, Thank you god for the birds that sing, Thank you god very everything, Amen "

After kindergarden, at the age of 6, I went to Nanyang Pre-Primary.  However, during a certain peroid before officially being a pre-school student,  remember going to kindergarden in the morning and pre-school in the afternoon.  Partly why I remember this may be due to the incident where I had forgotten to change my green kindergarden shoes to white ones before going for pre-school.  I was so scared that the teacher would punish me that I tried my best not to move around the whole day and stayed stuck to my seat.

Then I went on to Primary school at Nanyang Primary School where I lived everyday running down to recess to 'book' a place at the hopscorch area, buying 10 cents erasers to play rubber games and avoiding the libary after a senior told me that it was huanted.

After scoring just sufficient amount of points to enable me to enter Crescent Girls' School in the Primary School Leaving Examinations, I started my secondary school life.  It was very different from Primary school with the sudden appearance of 4-5 more subjects when 4 was already more than enough for me.  Firm friendship was made and I got to know alot of friends whom I still and hope to keep in contact with.  If you asked me, I enjoyed my Secondary school life much more than my Primary school days.

And right now, I am 'serving' my three months in National Junior College where I am hoping not to get 'kicked out' of.  As to whether I am going to stay and enjoy it here, it will be made known in two years time.
