All About That Wacky Monkee!

Yay!! I finally have time to put my long awaited Micky bio up! Hope you like it.
George Michael Dolenz was born in Los Angeles on March 8, 1945 to George and Janelle Dolenz. Micky first became an actor at 10 when he appeared as Corky on "Circus Boy," a 50's tv show. He used the stage name Micky Braddock so as not to be confused with his actor father. In his teens he did guest roles on "Peyton Place" and "Mr. Novak." He then took an interest in architectural drafting at Valley College and L.A. Tech. He also occasionally performed with a pop group called The Missing Links. He then formed Micky and the One Nighters and after that faded came out with two singles including "Don't Do It" and "Huff Puff." When he became a Monkee, he admitted that the attacks against the Monkees didn't bother him much since he was an actor. He met his first wife Samantha Juste in England. After the Monkees endedhe did voice-overs for the cartoons "Scooby Doo," "Devlin," and "The Funky Phantom." He also auditioned for the part of Fonzie on "Happy Days." In the mid-seventies, his marriage fel apart as he and David Jones were in a merchandizing lawsuit with Screen Gems. After Dolenz, Jones, Boyce, and Hart, Micky performed as Huckleberry Finn in a California play with Davy as Tom Sawyer. In 1977 he married Trina Dow and performed in Harry Nilsson's "The Point." After "The Point" ended in London Micky decided to remain in England where he directed the children's programs "Metal Micky" and "Luna." Micky has 4 children, Ami, Georgia, Emily, and Charlotte.
