Here's some cool (perhaps little-known) facts about the Pre-Fab Four for you to enjoy!

"Last Train To Clarksville" was inspired by "Paperback Writer."

Micky dumped a glass of Coke on Don Kirshner's head.

"I'm a Believer" sold over one million copies in America before it was released.

Paul Revere and the Raiders were the first to sing "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone."

The More of the Monkees cover photo was actually two pictures spliced together.

Mike was intended to sing "I'm a Believer."

The Monkees were intended to sing "Sugar, Sugar."

"Daydream Believer" was supposed to be the B-side to "Love Is Only Sleeping."

Mike recorded "The Door Into Summer" in the bathroom.

A Screen Gems executive stuck his picture behind a flower on The Birds, The Bees, and The Monkees album cover.

The chords of "Listen To The Band" is "Nine Times Blue" played backwards.

The title "Good Clean Fun" was meant to be an insult to a songwriter/publisher.
