Get Your Own Free Home Page The episode begins with Watters and Geiger at a boxing clinic. While at the clinic a boy (Sutton) collapses and has trouble breathing, then his breathing stops. He is brought into the ER and Nyland takes care of him.
Melissa comes into the hospital for her ultrasound and sees Alan, who forgot that he was going to help her find some adoptive parents, after the original adoptive parents fell through.
Aaron forgets about an appointment with an IRS agent.
Nyland discovers that Sutton is taking Steroids and Watters takes over the case.
Geiger tells Birch that Melissa’s baby has a hole in it’s heart.
While Camille and Watters are walking down one of the hospital corridors a window blows out. Birch talks to the window manufacturer, who wont admit that there is a problem. Alan discovers that the exact same thing happened in the Sears Tower and about 100 windows blew out in that building.
Angela, Geiger and Shutt’s secretary, feels guilty about Shutt’s audit.
Melissa yells at Birch for not finding a family for her baby.
Watters questions Sutton about the steroids found in his body. Sutton denies taking the steroids.
Camille and Melissa are in the maternity ward talking, and looking at the babies. Camille reveals that her sister has 3 babies, all boys. Melissa says that her babies been kicking her and gets ready to leave. As she is walking away she stops and asks Camille to come to her and the she begins labor.
Watters talks to Sutton’s father about his son’s steroid use. Watters then accuses Mr. Sutton of giving his son steroids, and puts the child in protective custody.
Camille and Birch talk about Melissa’s baby. Camille says that she and Aaron could take the child. Then she goes to talk to Aaron.
Alan goes to talk to Melissa, who is walking around the hallways. While they are talking Melissa has a contraction and grabs Birch by the tie.
Sutton confronts Watters about throwing his father out of the hospital, and then punches Watters.
Birch helps Melissa through her labor, and asks her about the father. She doesn’t know who the father is. She then gets into the shower and asks Birch to stay with her throughout the contraction. So he takes off his jacket and gets into the shower with her.
Watters goes into the bathroom and hears Shutt and the auditor continuing the audit in there.
Angela comes back from shopping and gives Camille a black camisole, a copy of "Like water, for Chocolate," earrings and necklace, and a black evening purse. Geiger asks if she has anything for him and Angela kisses him and says "I just had to do it once." And then she leaves.
Alan goes into Watters office (dripping on the floor.) Alan says that the windows blowing out was a design flaw and nothing was wrong with the windows. He then talks about the Sutton case for a while. Birch then says that he is late for a contraction and leaves.
Camille and Angela are in the reception are for Geiger and Shutts office and are talking about the day and sharing a drink. Aaron yells for Angela from his office, and she spills her drink and runs out of the room. Aaron enters the room and says that the IRS man has discovered she has been embezzling.
Watters and Mr. Sutton talk about his son’s recovery, then he check’s his son out of the hospital.
Geiger and Birch are now with Melissa, she is not progressing and she is about to undergo a C-section.
Camille is talking to Aaron about her and Aaron adopting Melissa’s baby. Aaron is still ranting about Angela and how he trusted her. Finally Camille says stop obsessing about Angela, this baby is dying, and that finally get his attention. Aaron asks Camille what is with her and the baby and she tells him that she want to adopt the baby. She tells Aaron about the hole in the heart and that she doesn’t care she wants the baby anyways.
Melissa is now in the operating room and she asks for Alan. Alan comes into the room wearing scrubs.
Sutton comes back into the ER, this time he is arrested and not breathing. He has a faint pulse, but they can’t capture his pulse and have to crack his ribs. Suttons pupils are fixed and dialated and Watters continues working on him, but he is gone.
Angela comes back to talk to Aaron. She tells him how she took money out of their pension plan to set up insurance for the custodians. Aaron tells her that they are no longer friends and that she no longer works for him.
Melissa says that she doesn’t want to see her baby. She wants to know is the baby, a girl, is all right and the cries.
Mr. Sutton is in the waiting room and Watters enters and tells him that his son is dead. Watter’s then has Mr. Sutton arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
Camille and Aaron are talking in the waiting room and Aaron is telling her about what Angela did. Camille asks him if he has thought about the adoption. Aaron tells her that he can’t, knowing that she is sick. Alan enters the room and tells them that it’s a girl. They tell Alan that they can’t adopt her.
Geiger walks into office and tells him that he heard about the Sutton case. Watters says that he misses Thurmond and Geiger asks when Thurmond is coming back. Watters tells him soon. Then Watters opens up the Christmas present from Thurmond, a box of cigars.
A nurse brings the baby to Alan to feed her and the nurse shows her how to feed the baby. As Alan is feeding the baby he decides that he should adopt her.
