Sexual Perversity In Chicago Summary

Begins with Watters going to the nurses desk in the emergency room telling the nurse a list of commands that he needs. Camille asks what he is doing there and he says he's a doctor, then Danny comes up to the desk and asks Phillip the same thing receiving the same response. The paramedics then enter the building yelling for a doctor, so Danny tells Phillip to go ahead. A man then walks up to Camille, and she informs him that he has to wait outside. He apologizes but says he can't quite reach this, and turns around to reveal a knife in his back. Camille calls for Phillip and the two help the patient, who reveals he is Dr. Mitchell, onto a gurny. Dr. Mitchell tells them that he thinks he has a punctured lung and then tells them his blood type. A woman then walks up to Danny and tells him she was raped. When Danny doesn't pay much attention she repeats her problem saying her name is Megan Standard. Danny calls for Camille and tells her to bring Miss Standard to curtain 5 and tells her she will need a rape kit. As Camille is bringing Megan to curtain 5 she stops and says that him. And then reveals that Dr. Mitchell is the man that raped her.

Next scene opens with Kate operating on Dr. Mitchell. Phillip walks in to assist. Kate then looks at the patient and reveals that it is Dr. Mitchell, who she went to med school with. Kate comments about the sexual harrassment suit that Billy has filed and Phillip tells her that she would prefer if the case didn't go to court. Kate wants to forget about the suit but Phillip tells her that if she wants to burn her bridges that's fine but she should leave the hospital out of it. Kate then takes out the knife and turns to Phillip and tells him to just go ahead and put it in her back.

Aaron is in the hall way eating something out of the snack machine and Robert Warrens, a third year resident, comes up to him. Robert tells Aaron that he want to go into nuerosurgery and would like to work under him.

Billy is in Diane lab trying to talk her into helping him with the Stuart's. Apparently Diane had diagnosed Mr. Stuarts cellulitis a while ago and he feels bonded to her. Billy then mentions that he had a heart attack, which Diane didn't know about. Billy informs Diane that he had a heart attack on his wedding night trying to carry his wife across the threshhold. Apparently the couple specifically asked for both of them, to counsel them on sex and what would be an ideal position for them. Billy talks Diane into it and the scene cuts to both of them in Billy's office talking with the couple. Mr. Stuart asks if they can help and the scene cuts away.

A police man is talking to Megan Stanford about her rape. He asks how she met the man and then tries to make sure it wasn't a "business" dispute. After Megan get upset and begins crying Camille asks the cop to leave.

Dr. Sutton is in Hancock's clinic helping with patients. He is examining the throat of a young lady. She then reveals that she is 14 and would like some condoms, Dr. Hancock always gives them to her.

Billy walks into Diane's lab to discuss the Stuarts. Diane then says she is an infectious diseaseexpert not a sex therapist. Billy asks her why she is so uptight about sex. Diane takes offense to this and then says all they need to do is find a position that minimizes exertion. Billy says that he agree and reveals a book; The Tunnel of Sexual Pleasure. The two then begin discussing different positions and Diane tells him that number 19 looks about right. Once Billy starts talking about his personal favorites Diane closes the book and tells him to have fun with the Stuarts. Billy tells Diane that he really needs her help with this and she agrees, as long as he doesn't try to sucker her into anything again. Billy says it's a deal and leaves. John walks into Dennis's office and asks him about handing out condoms to 14 year olds. Dennis tells him that he hands them out if they are sexually active. John tells him that he is promoting promiscuity and Dennis says he is promoting sexual responsibility. John then tells him that someone should tell Flori's father, to which Dennis replied that her father died a year ago. John wants to know who the man was that picked her up, so Dennis describes him and tells John that is her boyfriend Pablo, an approximately 30 year old man, who lives with Flori and her mother and helps with the bills. Dennis says he does have a problem with it but there isn't nothing he can do, he's had discussions with all of them including discussing safe sex. John then reveals the results of Flori's throat culture, she has gonorrhea of the throat.

The police officer walks out of the Dr. Mitchell's room and Camille asks him is he is going to be making an arrest. She is told that there is no proof, it is his word against hers, and his is more believable. The officer leaves and Kate walks up to the door, that Camille is standing by. Kate asks Camille if she wants something and Camille walks off. Kate enters Dr. Mitchell's room and checks him over. Dr. Mitchell then begins telling Kate about what happened with Megan.

Diane is telling the Stuart's, who are looking at the book with the different positions in it, about afterload and how they want to minimize it. Neither if the Stuarts are really listening to Diane and then Mrs. Stuart makes a small exclamation. Billy walks over to where they are sitting and tells them he wouldn't try that on a full stomache. Diane tells the couple that her and Billy had marked the positions that they felt were appropriate and they should just bring the book home. Mr. Stuart asks Billy if they can talk privately and the scene cuts to the two of them in his office. Mr. Stuart then reveals to Billy that he is a virgin.

Dennis is in his office talking to Pablo and Flori's mother. Pablo says that he has been completely faithful to Flori. Dennis tells them that is can be years before gonnorhea shows up. Dennis says that people are going to criticize what they do, and they know how he feels about the arrangement. Pablo says that he is going to marry Flori and her mother says that he makes her study and she listens to him. Dennis says that all he wants is what is best for Flori, and Pablo and her mother agree.

Camille walks up to the ER and is looking around. She asks Danny if he sent Megan up for her catscan, and Danny replies no. Then she asks if he's seen Megan and he says he hasn't seen her but asks where she has been, since they are swamped. Camille asks him if it bothers him at all that a rapist is being treated like royalty, but his victim isn't given the time of day.

Aaron is in his office telling jokes with Robert. He then gives him his proposal and agrees to let Robert study with him. Robert reaches up and adjusts Aaron's tie and then thanks him.

Next scene cuts back and forth between Billy advising Mr. Stuart and Diane advising Mrs. Stuart, both in separate offices. Diane says you're husbands a virgin... and then tell her that it isn't odd. Then Billy tells Mr. Stuart that it is natural and they should just rip off their clothes and go for it. Diane says that they need to keep the lines of communication open, telling eachother what feels good and bad. Then Billy says that talking takes all the spontinaity out of it. So Mr. Stuart replies: "So I shouldn't say anything to her?" And Billy tells him well if he's into that he can talk dirty to her. Diane then says that they should create and environment of trust and respect. And that they can do romantic things together like walking on the beach together. Then Billy says watching adult videos, and says sex is all about love. Diane says it's about love that the physical part is secondary. Then both groups walk out of the rooms and meet in the hallway.

John is in the clinic and and he sees Flori and Pablo in the waiting room kissing. He then yells at him to get off of her, that she is a minor. The two start arguing and John punches Pablo in the face. Then John is sitting in an office and Dennis walks in and asks him what is going on. John finds it hard to believe that no one cares that Pablo and Flori were making out in the waiting room. He then says that it is obvious that he is going to have to do something about it. Dennis tells him that he obviously can't handle working there. John then informs Dennis that he called child protection services about Flori. Dennis tells him it isn't child abuse.

Aaron is talking to Phillip about the resident that is studying with him. Aaron informs Phillip that the resident hit on him. So Phillip asks what he did, and Aaron tells him that he played with his tie. Phillip asks Aaron if he invited him and then told him he must be sending out signals.

Billy and Diane are talking about the Stuarts. Billy is talking about the sexual positions (numbers 19 and 26) and Diane tells him there is more to it then that. So Billy asks Diane what she is talking about, and Diane tells him communication. Billy informs her that guys don't want to hear someone blabber on when all they want is to do it. Diane walks away and then Billy yells he saved their life as his beeper goes off. The scene cuts to Mr. Stuart saying he's gonna die. The couple were watching a video that Billy gave them when he started experiencing a pain in his chest.

Kate walks up to Dr. Mitchell's room and sees Megan in there. She yells for security when Megan starts choking Dr. Mitchell. Kate runs into the room and grabs Megan, while she is yelling for Dr. Mitchell to tell them the he raped her. Security comes and takes Megan out of the room.

Flori and Dennis are in one of the examination rooms. Flori is telling Dennis that Pablo is really mad and he wont come back. Dennis tells her that he needs to come in for treatments, and Flori tells Dennis that he wont as long as John isn't there. Dennis tells Flori that Sutton called children services and that they will probably want to talk to her and her mother.

The Stuarts are talking in a room and Billy tells them that Mr. Stuart did not have a heart attack, it was just an anxiety attack. They begin kissing and then decide that they need to leave immediately. Mr. Stuart asks Billy if he and Diane are a couple and Billy says no she is too uptight. Mr. Stuart told him that they made a good couple and he should try and loosen her up a little.

Camille asks Kate what happened between Megan and Dr. Mitchell in the exam room. The two begin arguing. Camille accuses Kate of acting like a man. To which Kate replies that she takes responsibility for herself and her actions, unlike Camille, and if that means she is acting like a man then so be it. Then a security officer yells down to them that a woman collapsed. Kate and Camille run down to the security guard and see Megan on the floor.

Camille is standing outside an operating room watching Megan undergo an operation. We see Aaron operating on Megan and then the heart monitor flatlines. Camille goes into Kate's office and tells her that Megan didn't make it. Then she asks Kate how she got to be so tough and tell her she is no longer intimidated by her.

Diane is giving a lecture to some students and puts in a video that is on AIDS. She inserts the video and we hear sounds from a pornography. Diane then goes into Billy's office and returns the tape. As she give him the tape she asks him if it is some lame attempt at "Wooing her." Billy then replies, "who would woo you?" He also tells her that she is uptight and that she "didn't come across as a sexual dynamo." Diane gets upset by this comment and leaves his office.

John and Dennis are in the office talking about Flori. Dennis tells him that child services had no problems with Flori's living arrangements. John tells Dennis that he is going to quit after today. Dennis tells him that Flori got to him, and that he can't handle it.

Aaron tells Robert that he's straight. Robert tells him that he would still like to work together and Aaron says sure.

Kate goes into Dr. Mitchell's room to talk to him. Kate tells Dr. Mitchell that Megan had a cerebral hemorage and died. She asks him if what Megan said was true. He says he did not rape her. Kate thanks him and then leaves the room.

Camille walks up to Danny, who is sleeping on a gurney, and wakes him up. Camille informs Danny that she is important and she does not want to be taken for granted ever again.

Aaron is sitting on the couch in Phillip's office. Phillip comes in and the two begin talking. Aaron tells him that he did not send out signals to that resident. Phillip then asks Aaron if he has talked to Jeffrey. Aaron then replies that they were best friends but they were not, and are not gay. Phillip then asks Aaron if he wants to get a drink. Aaron asks him if he is asking him out on a date. After the two get in elevator Aaron leans over and kisses Phillip on the cheek.

Billy goes into Diane's lab and brings her some flowers that the Stuarts sent. The two talk a little and Billy tried to apologize for what he said in the office. Then Diane kisses him and tells him not to tell anyone.
