Mann & Machine originally aired on NBC from April 5, 1992 to July 14, 1992. Starring David Andrews as Detective Bobby Mann and Yancy Butler as beautiful Sergeant Eve Edison, the man and android detectives could not bring enough high-tech to last more than a mid-season replacement.
Mann & Machine consisted of one one-hour pilot and eight one- hour episodes, and has been re-run on the Sci-Fi Channel's Sci-Fi Series Collection.

Episode Guide |
Mann & Machine is set in the near future (references within some of the episodes narrows it down to somewhere between 1998 and 2009) when police duty is being augmented by robot patrolmen, though the robots aren't very sophisticated. Then along comes Eve, a prototype for a new AI robot, and she's being field-tested as the partner for Detective Bobby Mann, who dislikes robots, but comes to like Eve. Captain Claghorn is Bobby and Eve's boss.
