Setting: The penthouse. Brenda was there when Jax came home after telling off Miranda He had not scene her as he walked in. She came up behind him and put her arms around him.

We begin

He turned around quickly still in her arms and swept her into his. They were both crying now, tears streaming down their faces, just holding each other, holding on for dear life.

Neither of them knew how long they stood there holding each other, absorbing each other. Jax pulled away first. "Brenda" putting his hands to her face. "If this is a dream…?"

Brenda—"It's not, I'm here and I love you"

Jax—"Oh God, Bren, I love you too." He kissed her then… a kiss filled with frustration, desire, wonderment, and a longing of three months without each other.

Brenda slowly pulled away. "Jax, we need to talk"

J—"We can talk later! Just let me hold you for a while, please! I have missed you so much!"

Brenda nodded slowly, loving the feel of her husbands arms around her, and slowly being drawn into the beautiful depths of his eyes with every passing moment.

B—"Oh Jax, I am so sorry!"

J—"Brenda What do you have to be sorry for?"

B—"I left you! remember? Oh Jax, you've got to believe me it was the hardest thing I have ever had to I " Jax at this point cuts her off with a searing kiss. Brenda responds in turn by twineing her hands around his neck and somehow pulls him closer as if trying to deepen the current of feelings going on between them.

They break away from each other slightly, breathless and overwhelmed by the feelings they were both experiencing. Eyes piercing, blue and brown together, never breaking contact their make their way over to the couch.

Jax broke the silance first. "Brenda, That, That was incredible, I never, I can't even talk…. Even when we were together before, It never felt as….. Deep…as that"

B—"Jax it was only a kiss. She stopped But I know exactly what you are saying"

Jax with desire lighting a fore in his eyes. "It kinda makes you wonder…." Heat and longing was practically dripping off every word.

B—"Jasper Jacks!!! You are…."

J—"Insatiable?" He said with a grin.

B—"That too.

J—"Handsome?"

B—"Gorgeous!"

J—"Good?" Bending his head to nibble on her ear

B—"Mmmmm"

J—"What then?"

B—"Mine all mine and if I ever even think differently, call the loony bin."

J—" I can think of much better ways to make your sanity come back." He said, leaving a trail of kisses down her neck

Brenda, her breath quickening with every feather light kiss,"Jax, lets go to…"

DING DONG went the doorbell

Jax whispering in her ear "someplace where there are no doorbells!"

Brenda stifled a giggle by kissing him

DING DONG. KNOCK KNOCK

Miranda—"Jax, I know you are in there!!!!!"

Jax groaned. Brenda's eyes grew cold. "I will her neck in two like a twig!!!!!" Brenda said with vehemence.

"Brenda" Jax said warningly.

"Jax, don't even start with me about" she was cut off by another searing kiss her anger melting like an ice cube in the Australian Outback.

J—" Oh no, I think we should have a little fun with her though."

B—" She is dangerous, Jax We still don't know enough about her…"

J—" Yes but WE not just you anymore, don't trust her and we will find out what she is up too."

B—"I'll give you one guess"

M—"Jax I am not leaving till I know you are OK!!!!"

Brenda glared at the door" So what are we going to do?"

Jax whispered in her ear. Brenda eyes and face lit up and went from looks of laughter to astonishment, and finally to desire. This all happened in a matter of seconds with the last lingering on her face and smoldering in her eyes. "OK" she said and planted a kiss on his mouth, lingering and hard, drew away slowly and ran off to the bedroom.

Jax resolutely got up, went to the door, opened it and snarled wearily at Miranda " What the Hell do you want?"
