The Kiss 15 (PG)

Jax returned to the villa an hour later to find it in relative darkness except for soft, flickering amber-orange lighting that was coming from the terrace off of the bedroom. Soft music floated from that direction as well.

He stepped into the bedroom, following the alluring flickering lights and the hauntingly seductive music of Chris Isaak singing "Wicked Game." He walked through the open terrace doors into the enticing tropical night. The terrace was lit with candles. On the glass bistro table there was a bottle of champagne chilling in a bucket of ice. Next to that was a silver tray of strawberries and a glass bowl of whipped cream.

Brenda was in the midst of the seductive scene looking absolutely mesmerizing in a slinky blue satin dress that could easily pass for sensual sleeping attire. Her hair was loose but drawn up on one side by a glittering barrette. She was leaning against the terrace, her hair blowing gently in the evening breeze.

"Wow," Jax murmured, his emerald blue eyes drinking her in with a fascinated wonder.

With a flash of dimples she smiled at his obvious approval of the setting, and her attire. "I hope you don’t mind," she said, gesturing to her romantic little set up. "I really didn’t want to go out after all," she explained. She went over to him, slipped off his jacket.

"Mind?" he whispered. "You’ve got to be kidding."

She laughed and pressed her lips against the base of his throat. "Come here, let me relax you," she said with a smile that just tied his heart in knots. She gently pushed him into a chair, sitting on his lap facing him. She undid his tie, took it off and tossed it away. Then she unbuttoned his shirt and ran her fingers down his chest. "Meeting go okay?" she asked, reaching across him to pour him a glass of champagne.

"Perfectly," he said, watching her with amused, attracted eyes as she reached over to fill that champagne glass. God, he was so happy she was here.

Brenda handed him the glass, picked up one of her own and they both clinked gasses and took a sip, eyes riveted to one another. She placed her glass down, took a strawberry, dipped it in the whipped cream and smiled at Jax who was looking at her as if he could eat her alive. "These are REALLY good," she said softly as she slid her fingers sensually along his lips and then fed him half of the strawberry, while she ate the other half. "Best thing
you’ve ever tasted, right?" she said while running her fingers slowly through his hair.

Jax shook his head in disagreement, giving her a look that made fireworks go off within her. He placed his champagne glass down. "This is the best thing I’ve ever tasted," he said cupping her face and giving her a slow, heart-pounding, very hot kiss.

Brenda enjoyed every second of it and then breathlessly slid out of his embrace, as he smiled at the fact that she was playing hard to get. She got up and walked over to the champagne bucket, taking out a piece of ice.

"I think we need to cool you down, Mr. Jacks," she said with lovely, teasing eyes as she knelt down next to him, took the ice cube in her hand and slid it down the center of his torso in slow, zig-zagging lines. "Hmmm," she said, "we seem to have a slight problem here."

He grinned. "What’s that?"

" Well, this ice seems to be melting at the very touch of you."

He smiled and leapt up out of the chair, holding onto her arms. "Everything inside of me is melting at the touch of you," he told her.

Brenda let the ice fall to the terrace floor as her arms snaked around his neck. "Can I just tell you again how much I missed you?" she asked him, standing on her tip toes so her lips could reach his and brush sensually against them.

"You can tell me anything," he whispered, slowly wrapping his arms around her and lifting her into a five alarm kiss that sent her world spinning gloriously out of control. She was like heaven to hold, and one slide of his arms along her body quickly made him aware that she was wearing nothing beneath that sexy, blue slip of a dress. His arousal was suddenly instantaneous.

Brenda’s laughter was irresistible music to his ears. "Somebody’s happy to see me," she said softly, wriggling out of his arms and walking behind him to tug off his shirt.

"You have no idea," Jax said, reaching behind him to pull the laughing young woman back into his arms. The mixture of her soft, warm, skin and the exquisite satin fabric of her dress was a phenomenal combination. He touched his forehead to hers and closed his eyes. His hands slid up along her body until they were touching her face. With his eyes still closed, his hands caressed her face and throat, his thumbs sliding gently over her soft,
full lips.

Then his lips touched hers lightly, a mere hint of sensuality, a mere hint of alluring enticement. It was like he was slowly placing her under some magical spell of a master enchanter. Thrill zipped through her. She felt it electrifyingly difficult to breathe normally. The next kiss found his lips, warm and provocative, sliding slowly over hers until she felt lightheaded with rapidly increasing pleasure.. There was more sensuality to this kiss,
more wildness. It was as perfect and promising as the dawn yet as intoxicating and exciting as midnight. Then, all at once, the kiss intensified, the sweet, tender, magic of enchantment turning into the searing, passionate fire of desire, as his tongue glided with delectable sexiness over her lips and then inside of her mouth where it got reacquainted with her tongue in a delightfully dizzying swirl of breathtaking ardor. His hands slid behind
her, pulling her deliciously close so that she collided softly with him.

Passion’s sweet, urgency set fire to Brenda’s blood as she moved against him, her fingers entangled in an ocean of blonde waves as she pulled his head closer to her, seeking to deepen the thrilling kiss.

Chris Issak sang on, as Jax and Brenda went to town, kissing each other as if they were born to do it, slowly moving towards the bedroom.

The world was on fire
No one could save me but you.
Strange what desire will make people do
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
And I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you

The bedroom was lit with candles just as the terrace had been. They left the bedroom terrace doors open allowing the warm, seductive tradewinds and the music to follow them inside. They stood in front of the bed, their kisses deepening, their passion on fire. Jax put the brakes on the sizzling passion for a moment so that he could gaze at her, look into her eyes and see that truth that made his heart race with an unknown exuberance. There it
was. And there his heart went. It felt like falling. Falling into heaven.

He cradled her face with a tenderness that made her shiver. "I don’t want you to ever think this is all there is between us," Jax told her. "Just because it’s so all consuming, so complete, so rare, and so perfect all the time," he grinned at her, "and we both know it will be prefect this time as well - - -"

She nodded, smiling, and stealing a kiss from him.

"But I don’t want you to think that’s all there is -- this perfect physical connection and nothing else. Because there is more than that. As transcending of any physical pleasure I have ever experienced in my life as this is, there is more than just that between you and I."

He had no clue why he was telling her all of this, but his words seemed to please her immensely. Her eyes lit up with such beauty he felt his heart shift slowly as if the earth had just moved. "I know this isn’t all there is, Jax," she told him, her voice a soft whisper. "I know."

The way she said that second "I know" intrigued him somewhat. What exactly did she think she knew?

No, I don't want to fall in love
No, I don't want to fall in love
With you
With you

But then she was kissing him again and all other thoughts and wonderings fled his mind as if irrelevant. The searing pleasure pushed out everything else.

Jax reached down and pulled off Brenda’s dress in one graceful movement as they tumbled, with a sensual grace onto ocean blue satin sheets that felt like silk. Brenda undid Jax’s belt and had him fully unclothed within moments. Never once did their lips part during the removal of clothing. Their kisses were a riveting, blazing intensity setting fire to their bodies.

"What about our strawberries, and champagne, and whipped cream?" she asked with a giggle as sensual pleasures rippled through her.

"What about them?" Jax responded, his eyes resembling a beautiful blue midnight fire as he lowered his head to kiss her chin, trail his lips along her neck, slowly down to her breasts, and stomach. Every inch of her was like heaven to him.

"God, you’re so incredible," she murmured, her eyes closed savoring the feeling as he kissed his way back up to her lips.

"I’m so what?" he asked with sexy, playful eyes as he slowly slid his arms along hers, stretching her arms out on the bed above her head and interlocking his fingers with her.

"I said you’re so - - -" She gasped in rapturous delight as Jax slowly began to make love to her. "INCREDIBLE!" she yelled enthusiastically.

His soft laughter just made her want him all the more.

"So are you," he said, kissing her into sweet oblivion

Soon the pleasure surged within them both with the overwhelming force of a tidal wave.

What a wicked game you play
To make me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do
To let me dream of you

Jax and Brenda moved together like some sort of perfect moving art form. Fluid, urgent beautiful movements until finally they were so complete with one another. Perfectly, as always. As if it could not possibly ever be any other way between them.

Brenda was conscious of nothing surrounding her. Not the ocean breeze blowing the curtains of the terrace door, not the music floating inside, not the candles melting slowly as the night deepened around them. Nothing. She was aware of only one thing. Jax. The man who had her body, her heart and her soul in a way that no man ever had, or ever could. Or ever would, she knew, as she succumbed to the seething, wondrous thrill of Jax making love to
her - both gentle and powerful, both sweet, sensual tenderness and scorching hot desire. Brenda never wanted it to end. All at once neither Jax nor Brenda could breathe as the silken ecstasy of the ultimate ascent into physical utopia pulsated wildly between them and then slowly drifted back down to the earthly realm.

A little bit later, Brenda lay beneath the silky satin sheets, the back of her head resting on Jax’s chest, her face a vision of pure happiness, and her eyes still dazed with expended passion and sparkling with the thrill of being in love. The room was almost serenely silent, the candles continuing to melt down slowly into the frosted glass votives.

"This is so amazing," she said softly. "You can actually hear the ocean rushing to the shore of the beach so clearly. Do you hear it?"

"Yes, I hear it. Whenever I come here I fall asleep to that sound all the time. It’s actually why Jerry and I chose a timeshare so close to the beach. And just wait until you wake up in the morning and hear the birds. You’ll think you are in paradise," Jax promised

"I just came from paradise," she said with a grin, turning around so that he could see her face. She folded her hands over his chest and propped her chin up on them. "You amaze me. Every single time," she said.

"Ditto," he told her. She moved around easing her way up onto her elbows.

He gripped her hips to halt her. "Hey, if you keep moving around like that, you’re going to find yourself completely exhausted. I CAN make love to you all night , Brenda, We’ve done it before," Jax warned her.

She laughed. "I hope that wasn’t supposed to be a threat," she said.

He grinned at her and she gazed at him. Love, Desire, Love, Desire, Love, Love, Love. Wow, was she even trying to hide it anymore, he wondered? It was more evident now than it ever had been. It mesmerized him.

He smiled and traced his fingers along her chin. "So, Stefan tells me you’re ready to quit your job," he said.

She laughed. "Oh, did he tell you that he saw me and I basically just grunted out a hello to him? I’m NEVER like that, just so you know. It’s just that it’s never been this crazy before at work. I feel like they think I’m the only employee or something. They suddenly make me do everything."

"Well maybe you should find some new employment," Jax suggested.

"Well, I did get an unexpected offer," she murmured. "Thanks to your brother."

Jax’s eyebrow rose with interest. "My brother?"

"Yes," she said, her little sigh indicating her lack of desire to really pursue this subject. She walked her fingers across his chest and was getting ready to kiss him, but he held her stationary, denying their lips the warm, sensual contact they both craved.

"Is there something about Jerry that you want to tell me?" he asked her, seriously.

She bit her lip and glanced past him through the open terrace doors.

"Brenda?"

"I’m thinking," she responded, drumming her fingers against flawless rippling muscles beneath her hand.

"What’s to think about? Either you have something to tell me about him or not. I get the impression you’re not all that fond of him."

"Oh, you can tell, huh?" she asked, still chewing on her lip.

"Yes I can tell. You were practically gleeful when you thought he wasn’t going to come to the party. Besides, your eyes don’t hide much, Brenda" he said, and there was some kind of secret knowledge glimmering mysteriously in his eyes when he said that, which out Brenda somewhat on guard. Was he talking about her being unable to hide her feelings about Jerry? Or her inability to hide something else?

She frantically tried to remember if she had confessed to any feelings of love while they were in their blissful cyclone of ecstasy a few moments ago.

"So," Jax repeated, interrupting her thoughts, "what’s going on with you and Jerry, Brenda? Is there some sort of problem between you two? Because if there is I want to know about it."

She went back to her position of elbows resting on his chest, her chin propped up in her hands. "He doesn’t like me," Brenda said.

"How do you know that? Did he say something to you?" Jax queried, siting up on his elbows a bit. His demeanor was serious and Brenda suddenly had a feeling that she could really get Jerry into hot water with his brother if she told him everything. And a part of her was delighted! But another part didn’t want to do or say anything to negatively affect the brother’s relationship. Despite her brave threats to Jerry that she would do exactly that, she
really didn’t want to.

"Why is it that he’s so protective of you, Jax?" Brenda asked, hoping to sidetrack the conversation somewhat, and perhaps gain some insight into Jax’s older brother that would help her decide whether to rat him out or not.

"Protective in general? Or with women in particular?" Jax asked.

Both," she decided, again, shifting her body around and getting a sexy gaze of warning from Jax that her continued movements on top of him were going to lead to her being underneath him in a second.

"Well the general protectiveness is merely the typical big brother thing. Jerry’s a lot older than I am, Brenda. 15 years to be exact. So, he takes the big brother role more seriously than most. As to his protectiveness of me with women in particular, well that’s pretty much based on his own experience’s with the opposite sex. He was engaged twice, you know. The first time when he was 27. Her name was Ashley. The minute he gave her the ring
she was gone and we never heard from her or saw her again. She also left with a handful of my mother’s jewelry. The next time Jerry fell in love was ten years later when he was 37. Her name was Fiona Markins. Jerry really thought she could walk on water, I mean he really thought she was the one – we all did, to be honest. And then the day before the wedding she left him and married some British movie star. So you see, Jerry is now of the
adamant opinion that all women are users and none are to be trusted unless they are little domicile, church-mouse types. He doesn’t want me to go through what he did, so he tries to be a buffer between me and heartache and humiliation and takes it upon himself to ban all women he deems dangerous out of my life. He’s extremely untrusting of women who are unusually beautiful, have vibrant personalities, a tendency to be wild and impulsive, and a
defiant spirit that cannot be broken. Basically the exact kind of woman I would ever be attracted to. I think I just described you, didn’t I? So you can tell me the truth, Brenda. Has Jerry been trying to convince you to vacate my world?"

Brenda slowly nodded. "But I guess I sort of understand why, now," she said thoughtfully. Jerry’s heart was scarred from love gone wrong and he was now overcompensating for his own mistakes of the heart by trying to shield his much beloved little brother from falling in love and possibly going through the same hell.

"I didn’t tell you about his past to try and excuse his behavior towards you, " Jax told her. "I’m going to make sure that it stops."

"You know, so far I can handle him pretty well on my own," Brenda volunteered. "I really don’t want you to have to get in the middle of this conflict that has arisen between us," she added, deciding not to tell him about Jerry’s outrageous fake mom and dad Jacks scam. Yet.

"But I am in the middle," Jax pointed out. "I’m the reason."

"Yes, but, I just really think I can take care of this by myself. Really."

Jax’s gaze slid from the night sky, over to her. "All right I’ll stay out of it. For now. Until the first time he does something to hurt you, even if it’s unintentional. I’m not going to let that happen. Deal?"

"Deal," she said kissing his lips and inadvertently moving against him. And this time he could not contain his desire which she could more or less summon with something as innocent as a smile.

"I warned you about moving around like that," Jax murmured against her lips as she laughed until he kissed away her laughter, turning playful mirth into scintillating passion, and then slowly, tenderly, relentlessly he began to make love to her all over again.
