Children Of Halloween

We start off in Walker's truck (where else). Trivette is talking about how Halloween is no fun without the creativity of making your own costume. Walker thinks that Trivette has fallen off the banana boat, because Trivette's costume for the year before was a bag of peanuts and a bottle of oil. Trivette explains it as being George Washington Carver, it was creative, subtle and educational. (who dropped an anvil on his head?)

Dispatch calls in an armed robbery that's only three blocks from the rangers position and advises them that the perpetrators look like guerillas. The two arrive on the scene as the robbers are escaping in their black truck. (why is it that the bad guys always have a black car?)

As a high speed chase begins, the guerilla guys are firing their machine guns at Walker and Trivette. The two duck at the shot fired (I have no clue why, when it seems the truck windshield is bullet proof, but that's another story) and Walker skillfully continues the chase (unusually fake for a WTR ep).

After going into the warehouse district, the guerillas crash into boxes at one of the warehouses and the guerilla in the back is flung out the back bed to the ground. The passenger guerilla runs off and Trivette quickly follows.

As Walker vacates his truck, the flung guerilla crawls up into Walker's car door as he is opening it, then he chases the guerilla driver.

Trivette easily gives his guerrilla a couple of hits, as Walker is almost whapped with a metal pipe by his perp. (he use the butt of his gun to block the pipe then proceeds to pound the perp).

Upon their capture, the police come on the scene (how typical for the show) and Trivette begins to list what these guys are to be charged with; "armed robbery, resisting arrest, and reckless endangerment;" while Walker adds impersonating a more intelligent species.

Then we do a skip to Hallow's eve, where we see a cemetery. Inside the cemetery in a moseleum (I guess that's what it's called) where five scared children are huddled and a hooded man comes in to tell them "it is time to die" (best evil voice possible).

Then we see a writhing and ready to cry, tied up/gagged Alex.

*****Beginning Credits*****

We come back to see a display of one week earlier and a panning in on the Thunder Karate school. Trent is giving a class where there are parents in attendance taking pictures. We continually see one set of parents and soon find out they become a main portion of this episode.

After class Joey is being praised by Trent and Joey's parents are telling Trent how Joey has changed for the better (at this time Joey moves away from his parents and Trent, to his friends).

Joey then approaches his parents and asks if he can join the other students in a celebration at the Pizza Palace. Joey's dad says yes and even offers to pay for the pizza. Joey says the pizza on him...his dad and the kids do the YES!!!! thing (Good smiling close up of Trent).

Next we see all the karate students leaving the Pizza Palace and Joey walking, alone, home. As he does so, it begins to rain and he hears a female voice asking for help.

After a moments hesitation, Joey walks toward a warehouse and asks the voice where she is. The voice replies "over here, hurry" and Joey looks around finding a red pentagram painted on the cement floor of the open warehouse.

He becomes afraid and tells the voice he's going to get help. Only to turn around and into a dark man with long hair dressed in black (Yes he's a man in black. Maybe with some makeup tips and dressing he would make a nice looking woman).

This man grabs Joey, uses some chloroform on a tissue and knocks Joey out. This guy's female assistant looks out for the van and then they all climb in carrying Joey.

Joey is then in the moseluem we first saw at the beginning, still asleep.

We then shift to Ranger HQ, where Walker is ready to head home. Trivette gets the perfect idea for a Halloween costume for the party and begins to solicit Walker for his cooperation. Trivette's idea is to go as Danny Glover and Mel Gibson (what a stretch). And Walker begins to think that Trivette has a great idea (Walker's messing with him) and that Trivette should get the heart patterned shorts that Danny had in Lethal Weapon 4 and jump around with his arms flapping. Trivette catches on just as he gets a call from Trent that one of his students is missing.

We shift to in front of the Pizza Palace where Walker, Trivette, Trent, Carlos, Alex and Joey's parents go out looking for him. Walker tells everyone to search the neighborhood and to report if they find anything.

Walker and Trivette check the nearby warehouses, finding Joey's gui (is that how you spell it?) and the red pentagram. Walker tells Trivette to call the FBI (like that'll help).

We then go to Joey's house, where his mother is crying on his father and Trivette is getting word about two little girls being kidnapped from their backyard and the pentagram painted on their fence. Trent is miffed (understatement of the episode) as to why this would happen.

We then go to Alex's H.O.P.E. where we see a girl (Melissa) go out into the hall and look at the money sitting in a purse, when Alex comes behind her and asks "isn't that what got you in trouble in the first place?" Melissa becomes defensive because she wasn't actually going to do it, but she was thinking it. Alex knows she was thinking about it and Melissa's response was "if thinking were a crime, then right now I'd be on death row."

Josey (Alex's assistant @ H.O.P.E.) thinks that in order to find the sweet girl inside Melissa they should cut her open and find it.

We see the dark guy in black bring in the two girls he took and Joey asks why is all this happening. The man leaves as Joey checks on the girls.

We come back to Ranger HQ where Trent comes in asking walker if there is anything he can do to help. Walker says that he thought Trent was busy on a case, but Trent tells him that he wrapped it up by finding the runaway girl with her gangbanging boyfriend. She was thirteen, how sad.

Walker tells Trent to pair up with Carlos (like we didn't expect that, and what a pair anyway) and that the two will be checking out everyone they have on list being a Satanist. Trivette and Walker explain what has been found and what they are currently doing as Trent begins to say that the pentagram is a symbol of Satanic cults. Carlos explains that he's arrested these types before and that they mutilate animals, knock over cemeteries, and churches, etc.

We then switch to H.O.P.E, where Melissa is playing with a child and Alex comments that she's very good with children. Alex asks if Melissa has ever thought about being a teacher and Melissa thinks about it then Alex tries to clear the air about what happened yesterday (the purse thing).

Melissa says that she's trying and that she doesn't want to do it, but people still treat her like a thief. Alex tries to comfort her and tells Melissa that she completely trusts her (she then hugs Melissa).

We shift gears to the man as he paints a pentagram. The female assistant comes up behind him and ID's him as Lucifer. She then proceeds to beg Lucifer to go out and kidnap another child. He quiets her, then proceeds to get a little tongue action from her.

Lucifer's minions bring in a member who has tried to leave the group. This person promises that he won't do it again and begs Lucifer to forgive him.

Well then, the chick hands Lucifer a rather large dagger and he says that there is no forgiveness and slits the deserter's throat (Lucifer is pissed).

Back at Ranger HQ, Joey's parents are holding a press conference to beg for his return. Trivette's asks if they're ok with this and Joey's mom asks Walker if he believes that Joey is still alive. He says yes, then the parents begin the press conference.

We then go back to the moseluem where the two girls are now awake and scared. Joey begins to tell the girls (what we guess to be uplifting) a story.

We shift over to an office where Trent and Carlos are questioning a man about being a Satanist. The man says he was not a Satanist. He admits that at 17 he and friends were drunk, knocked over a few head stones, were arrested, paid restitution and that he had gotten a whuppin from his dad. Then he goes on to ask if youthful stupidity makes him a Satanist.

Trent and Carlos give each other that look (though we have yet to identify what that look means between the two, beyond the obvious) and Carlos crosses this guy's name off the list.

We then go to a house where a young boy is outside putting up Halloween decor and his mother tells him he has five minutes before he has to go inside. The boy agrees and the mother tells him he's doing a good job. The mother then turns on the TV and hears the plea that Joey's parents are making for their son's safe return, when the mother watching the TV gets that motherly feeling of danger and goes outside to get her son (Tony). Only he's gone and she finds a pentagram on her front walk way.

We go back to the moseleum where Lucifer brings Tony's unconscious body to where the other children are and his chick places food for the children. Lucifer tosses one of the trays and tells the kids to eat. As Lucifer and company leave, they dematerialized rather than walk out.

At Ranger HQ Trivette tells Walker that Tony (not Piccolo) has been taken from his front yard. Walker says that they need answers and the two drive off to a place called the Magick Shoppe.

The owner of this shop is Downtown Julie Brown (who has definitely got a thing for Walker--watch it Alex). As she (Cass) begins to tell Walker and Trivette about who this weirdo could be, four biker types come in and start trouble.

Trivette tells the Nick Cage looking guy (Lenny) to leave Cass alone and that if he doesn't he'll show him a magic trick. Lenny wants to see Trivette's trick so he proceeds.

Trivette has this guy look at his left hand and as Lenny is focused on it, Trivette hits him with his right--breaking Lenny's nose and saying "Tada." Then Walker and Trivette proceed to kick the remaining weirdoes butts and Walker tells Trivette "Tada? You're gettin as bad as me."

Cass continues about this guy (and flirting with Walker) and find his address saying that he called himself Lucifer. Walker asks for another copy of the book Satanic Rituals (the one Lucifer brought).

We shift over to seeing Carlos and Trent at a house thanking a woman for her time. Trent is beginning to get frustrated (would someone mind relieving that stress?). Carlos asks Trent about his thoughts of devil worshipping and Trent tells him that it's something that misfits (and you thought that was the name of Gem's enemies. Come on admit it.) use to justify their wrong doings (this coming from two supposed misfits). Then the two drive off.

Walker and Trivette take a trip over to Lucifer's house and as they search the place, Trivette finds an "interesting " room. Just as Trivette begins to search the room, Walker sees a laser trip that Trivette hits and the two bolt out of a window as Lucifer's house blows. That was a close one.

Back at the cemetery, Lucifer is holding a ceremony praising Satan. Lucifer sits on a throne like area rolling his head around (you know getting out those kinks from carrying the kids), while his minions chant "Hail Satan."

Meanwhile he says some Latin chants (I can make out onlya little of it so no translation) and a goat is brought in for a sacrifice. Lucifer uses his cool large dagger for the sacrifice.

We then go to Trent parking his car outside of Hell's Bells strip joint. As Carlos and Trent walk in, they take in the scenery (just a little too much). The two give each other another kind of "that look" (a pretty goofy one since they seem to be enjoying themselves a little too much. Can someone get out the cold hoses?) and proceed to the bar tender to get info.

Trent gets the bartender to give info with a bribe (though it doesn't seem to work since the bar tender says he can't remember the girl that the two are looking for). While unable to get info from the bartender, one of the ladies working there is on her break and getting harassed by a couple of guys. Carlos steps in and Trent finishes his sentence.

This guy tells the "pretty boys" that they're gonna get a whuppin and being the smart asses that Trent and Carlos are, they respond "An attractive off...(C)" "And we'd really like to take you up on that...but we're on our break. (T)" the guy then moves to hit Trent and Trent plows into his nose.

Carlos looks on, then backs up as Trent hits another. Then Carlos hits one guy in the gut and twice in the face. Trent takes up a bearded guy, then hops on the bar counter and does a sweet sweep lick move (you had to see this!!!). The lady asks the boys if they're looking for Belinda.

Fade out and into Ranger HQ, where Trivette has found Lucifer's identity (what are the chances that Lucifer is a mental patient?) Trivette begins to tell of Lucifer (David Thomson). Thomson has had numerous occasions of being admitted to a mental institution and he claims to be Lucifer the son of Satan. Meanwhile Walker is reading the ritual book.

Back at H.O.P.E Melissa has just caught some boy with stealing from Josey's wallet and is fighting to get the money back. Well Josey walks in and the boy tells Josey and Alex that Melissa did it. Alex questions Melissa (she has a look that she wants to hear Melissa's side, not an immediate guilty judgement) and Melissa is pissed and runs out the back. Alex says she's going to talk to Melissa and that she wants to hear the truth.

As Alex walks out, she sees that Lucifer is trying to take Melissa. She tries to get Melissa from Lucifer but the chick (Belinda) whaps Alex with a tree limb. Lucifer has Alex and Melissa taken as they speed off in an orange (how appropriate) colored van.

At Ranger HQ, Walker is reading the Satanic Rituals book and reads Trivette the right of ascension. It requires a sacrifice and occurs at midnight on Halloween in a cemetery. Trivette points out that they're now at Halloween night and that there are hundreds of cemeteries in the Metroplex area.

Then Walker gets a call that Alex is missing. It's now evening and Trivette and Walker find a pentagram on the back of the H.O.P.E building. The two determine that they have five hours until midnight to find everyone.

We switch to the cemetery where Lucifer is bringing Alex's and Melissa's bodies.

We come to Hell's Belles where the lady that Carlos and Trent defended is telling them about Belinda (Belyle) and how she was into the Satanist thing. Trent asks about the guy the lady mentions Belyle was with as we see Carlos' reflection in the mirror (he looks eerily spaced out).

Carlos' attention is peaked when the woman mentions a farm house that Belyle had talked about, near Denton; Carlos calls this in and then we're back at Ranger HQ where Carlos is giving a debriefing on where the farm house is (a ten mile radius of Denton).

Walker and Trivette say that they think the cemetery is near the farm house and that they have narrowed it down to 11 cemeteries. Walker hands out the cemetery assignments.

We then see various scenes where officers are scouting cemeteries.

We then go to where Alex and the children are held. Alex is bound to the ground as Lucifer orders to have the children brought to him. He then lays the large dagger on Alex's neck and tells her that this is not the end but the beginning and that they will spend eternity in hell sitting with Satan.

As we see Carlos and Trent at on cemetery, the two seem a bit scared with comments like, "let's get out of here."

We then shift to the moseleum where the children are and a cloaked man enters saying to the children that it is time to die.

Next we watch Lucifer (psycho!) Hail Satan again and give a little sacrificial speech above Alex. As the children are being taken from the moseleum, Walker and Trivette bust on the scene taking care of the hooded minions.

Trivette takes the children to a safe place as Belyle tells Lucifer the police are there, and Walker goes out to get Alex. Lucifer sends his minions after Walker and after a five minute fighting splurge (playing with sticks of fire too) those boys are down.

Meanwhile Lucifer is doing a sacrificial prayer over Alex again as he is about to thrust the dagger into Alex.

Walker comes from off camera and tackles Lucifer, as Alex pounds on Belyle a couple of times. Walker tells Lucifer to put the weapon down and since Lucifer refuses (claiming that Walker can't kill him cause he's the son of Satan), Walker does a spin kick sending Lucifer twirling off to the ground. And like and idiot criminal that Lucifer is, he manages to fall on the dagger killing himself and Belyle goes to his side crying.

Just as Alex takes off her gag and goes to Walker; Trent, Trivette and Carlos all come running to where Alex and Walker are to help and check everything out.

Then we go back to Thunder Karate, where Trent is introducing Melissa to the class. Trent asks for a volunteer to teach Melissa the proper punching methods. Joey volunteers and says it would be his honor.

Then at C.D.'s Walker is talking to Cass who is throwing herself at him, while saying that none of her love spells worked so she must be getting rusty. She then touches Walker's forearm then kisses him on the cheek as Alex walks in. She sits next to Walker and asks who that was.

Walker tells her it's a long story and Alex puts her purse on the bar and says they have all night then.
