Lost Boys

As we begin the episode, we pan around the area til we come to the Attack Zone. This is an arcade where various teens are playing all sorts of games and laser tag. Inside is a scruffy looking Bobby playing a fighter pilot game. Outside Jesse (Carlos' nephew) is walking in front of the Attack Zone and being harassed by a boy (played by the kid who was on Roseanne).

Bobby steps out and tells the kid that Jesse is his homey and they cruised together. The other drops off and Jesse looks at him likes the kid's had one too many.

Jesse and Bobby talk about school and Bobby tells Jesse he has bigger after school things and shows Jesse a gold watch. Jesse's impressed, and Bobby asks Jesse to join him at the Attack for a game. Jesse tells Bobby that he can't cause his mom has to leave for work, so they part.

Later that afternoon, Bobby is near Jesse's house, as Jesse is taking out the trash (what a good boy). Jesse questions this, but Bobby says it's nothing and he hops into a dark van. The van drives to Jordan Electronics, where a stake out between Walker, Trivette and Carlos is taking place.

After Walker gets a confirmation of the van coming into this place and a possibility of something going down, they keep tabs and begin to deploy.

Meanwhile the owner of the Attack Zone, Blade, is driving the van and orchestrating the burglary of the electronics, with him taking down the security system. As Blade takes the system down, Bobby acts as the look out. And the other boys get ready to go in and get what they can.

Once in, the boys go about grabbing things and the police begin to catch them in the act. The boys offer little resistance and obey the officer's orders.

One boy is hiding as Walker stops a few others, and outside where Bobby is a lookout, an older cop has spotted him. The cop notices that Bobby is a child and lets his guard down.

Just then Blade comes out and seeing the cop, shoots him with cop killer bullets (bullets that go throughout the bullet proof vest).

The officers in the electronics warehouse hear the shots and rush out.

Meanwhile Blade gives Bobby the gun and runs away, leaving the kid with the murder weapon. Bobby quickly gets scared and runs.

The older cop's partner comes out, but gives no pursuit to Bobby cause he's trying to care for his dying partner. Carlos is standing by watching all this unfold as the ambulance arrives (little hope in Carlos' dark eyes).

As the cops are searching, with a helicopter assistance, they spot Bobby. Bobby is running through the neighborhood near Jesse's house. Bobby tries to climb to Jesse's window and Jesse's dog is barking.

Jesse opens his window, letting Bobby in (smart dog, not so smart kid). Jesse, not understanding why Bobby would climb through the window, looks about ready to hit the roof when Bobby shows him why he's hiding.

Bobby tells Jesse he can't say a thing they'll come after him and Jesse. Bobby wants to hide the gun at Jesse's, but Jesse doesn't want to let him.

Just then Jesse's mom (Theresa/Teresa) comes home. While Jesse calls down to his mom, Bobby hides the gun in Jesse's top dresser drawer and hops out the window.

Jesse then thinks of Blade.

The next day Jesse is walking home and Blade's boys with Bobby come up to him, telling Jesse they need to see Blade. The boys go through the lazer tag set up to a back office where Blade is waiting.

Blade tells Jesse they didn't mean to get him involved, but he is. Jesse doesn't understand until Bobby tells him that he stashed the gun in Jesse's drawers.

Blade says he just wants the gun back or else he'll kill Jesse's mom. Jesse goes home, ready to get the gun and go, but his mom calls him from the kitchen.

Jesse says hi to his mom and sees Carlos (his heart ready to pound out his chest now). Jesse wonders what Carlos is doing here (not too happy and unshaven in his beige shirt/ maroon jeans).

Carlos tells Jesse his mom called him and his mom said that he had to know about the situation at hand. She walks over to a table and pulls out a hefty 9mm.

Carlos flips out that his sister is handling the thing and getting prints on it. He grabs a towel and takes the gun from his sister.

Jesse just about has a heart attack as he tries to tip toe out of this one without telling.

Theresa is waiting for an explanation (and Carlos has that, you had better have a good explanation look about him) and Jesse has no idea what to do and blows up about his mom going through his room.

Theresa tries to stop him, but Jesse leaves abruptly. As Jesse leaves, Carlos pulls out the gun clip to find that the load is cop killer bullets.

Theresa is worried as Carlos puts in a call to forensics. She wants to know what's going on and is scared.

Back at Ranger HQ, Trivette sums up what they know and Detective Ochoa is ready to go on a hunt (he's extremely pissed of his partner's death, who wouldn't be).

We find that Jesse's last name is Estrella (star), as tennis match talks continue between Det. Ochoa and Det. Sandoval (who can't believe this is happening and is defending his nephew, also very worried. Carlos needs a hug).

Detective Ochoa is looking for blood.

Back at the Attack Zone, Blade is pounding on Bobby cause Jesse hasn't shown up yet. Blade calls over Zack to get Jesse.

We then see Jesse at this deserted boat house and go back to Ranger HQ.

At HQ Carlos is staring into space and comes to Walker about Jesse's innocence and that if he could bring him in there wouldn't be much of a struggle (especially since Det. Ochoa is a little trigger happy right now). Walker agrees and they go off to find Jesse.

At the boathouse, Zack is snooping around looking for Jesse, as he calls out Jesse's name, Jesse tries to hide and escape, but a few other boys come around the other way and grab him. Just as the boys take Jesse; Walker, Trivette and Carlos drive up.

Zack and his goons hear them and decide to come for Jesse later and nonchalantly walk out. Walker sees these boys and knows they aren't just strolling around without a real reason.

These boys refuse to talk and Walker knows Zack has a gun (all you had to do was not to hold your jacket to conceal it moron). After the boys realize they are in it, they fight the three men and lose (Carlos must have a headache after that head butt).

Carlos goes looking for Jesse and finds him, only Jesse doesn't want to stay and tries to escape.

With Carlos running after him (and you think he's about to fall into the water), Walker cuts Jesse off and they grab him. Carlos wants Jesse to tell him what's going on, but he adamantly refuses (Carlos is concerned and Walker looks bewildered).

Walker and Det. Ochoa have Jesse in interrogation. Ochoa is pressing for answers, but Jesse flashbacks to what Blade says and keeps his mouth shut.

Behind the interrogation glass, Carlos, Alex and Theresa look on (Theresa and Carlos very worried).

Down at the holding cell we see a lawyer (played by the guy who was Secretary General McGath on seaQuest) getting Zack and his thugs out on bond. Trivette sees this and wonders how these boys could afford such an expensive lawyer.

At the funeral for Ochoa's partner, everyone says they're sorry and begin to ponder how Jesse may just be innocent after all, by his reactions. Ochoa is livid, because he thinks Carlos (grey slacks and jacket) is trying to get his nephew off the hook (even though we know he's innocent). Carlos asks Walker what he thinks and Walker thinks Jesse might be innocent. Alex and Walker think Jesse could be protecting someone, they just need to find out who.

Walker who thinks the whole robbery attempt was too special operation like for these boys and assumes a head at this, and Trivette notes that the lawyer Zack and the other boys had was way too ritzy for them. The guys put two and two together and begin to find the hook. (Punks is a favorite word here).

The bad lawyer (McGath) is meeting with the boy (the kid from Roseanne) and telling him to not let Blade down. The kid pledges his allegiance.

In the Juvenile hall, the boys get up while sleeping and go to Jesse to give him a "message". They want Jesse to confess to the murder or his mother is history, reluctantly Jesse agrees (I would too if someone had a sharp object to my throat.)

At Ranger HQ, Trivette can't find who's paying the crooked lawyer's bill. But he did find out that the boys all hung out at the Attack Zone; so Walker, Trivette leave to scope the place (they play that pathetic club music again, I feel like Undercover).

Walker and Trivette talk to Blade about his place and knowing the boys. Blade says he's seen the boys (they being regulars) and tells the two that he's an ex-SEAL.

Walker and Trivette then question the kids about the boys, but they say that they've never seen the boys. The two suspect someone is lying and Blade being a SEAL is a little too convenient. Bobby is sitting in his room, thinking about this whole mess he got Jesse into and how he can fix it before Jesse and his mother pay with their lives.

Back at the Estrella house, Theresa is dressing and getting ready for work hearing the radio report on her son. Just then, Zack and his goons grab Theresa and take her away.

In juvenile holding, Jesse is told that his lawyer is Lawrence Patterson (McGath) and they need to meet. Jesse goes to meet the lawyer. The lawyer, Patterson (Mc Gath) tells Jesse that he has a prepared confession and that he is to sign it. Jesse is confused, until he sees a picture of his mother being held attached to the confession. Jesse knows this is his only way to save his mom and signs (boo and hiss to McGath).

They remove Jesse and bring in the boy. The boy wants info and Patterson tells him that Jesse confessed they can go kill him now.

At Ranger HQ, Trivette checks Blade's background and finds a good Navy boy until criminal record comes up. Blade has stolen and put Navy equipment on the black market.

Alex calls about the confession. Carlos can't reach his sister and Walker doesn't believe that Jesse could have done it. Det. Ochoa on the other hand wants to go for the gold with Jesse.

Just then Bobby steps out and says that Jesse didn't do it and spills the beans.

Meanwhile in Juvenile holding, the boy tells Jesse to come to him and the boys corner Jesse to kill him, just as Walker tells him to hold it.

Walker removes the knife from the boy's hand and they talk to Jesse. Jesse says he had to, because they had his mom. Carlos is shocked and confused as Jesse says, "You've got to help her uncle Carlos..." they leave for the Attack Zone.

Blade has Theresa tied up and is giving the "it's nothing personal" speech (why do all criminals do this?) Blade's got a nice bird though. Blade tells Theresa he just had her son killed (she cries). Blade also tells her that he's planned for her to commit suicide.

Walker, Trivette, Carlos and Ochoa reach the Zone and bust in (Carlos uses the door ram). A lovely gun fight occurs and these sorry criminals give up (too easily).

Blade goes into the Lazer tag and Walker follows. They do some hand to hand after popping a few more bullets and Walker wins (like he wouldn't, but Blade was a good match). Walker then flips Blade over and it's done.

Ochoa comes in and gets to play with Blade. Walker comes in and the remaining two shoot their machine guns at him. He gets them and Theresa is gagged screaming the whole time.

Carlos ungags Theresa, she asks about Jesse. Carlos and his sister hug (after he touches her face a thousand time over).

We go to some place where Patterson (McGath) is being recognized as a humanitarian. After a lovely speech about him; Walker, Trivette and Carlos come into arrest him. Patterson thinks, they're nuts and wants their badges.

Walker tells Carlos to arrest him. Carlos grabs the cuffs, Patterson says "do you know who you're dealing with". Carlos says yes and gives a smart ass answer, then turns Patterson around and plunges him into a piece of cake (you know Carlos enjoyed that scene, over and over and over) twice and takes Patterson away (Carlos is getting even for when he was Miguel and McGath made the seaQuest do stupid stuff. And Carlos had a nice pair of blue jeans).

At H.O.P.E. Jesse and Bobby have 300 hours to do. Jesse volunteered, with help of mom encouraging. Theresa says to work them good. Alex gives them the keys to the supply room to clean out the toilets. Carlos thought. "Somebody has to do it." All the adults crack a smile.
