Team Cherokee
Part One
As we begin we see two men of Indian decent talking about the race
heading. They are the crew chief Red Cloud and the driver Brian. The
two are discussing how Brian's wife is in the trailer and once again is
nervous for him.
We go to the trailer and see that his wife is laying
down and quickly gets up to vomit. As she cleans herself up and goes
to leave the trailer, a few white guys pass and begin to harrass her.
Brian and Red Cloud come to this and they begin to fight with the
white guys to leave them alone (cute little joke thrown in there about
Tonto and morons).
Walker comes off from the side and helps break up
the fight.
Brian makes sure his wife (Rachel) is ok as Walker asks
about the fight. The two tell him that they are high in the running
and not too many are happy about the Cherokee winning.
Walker comments
at least they didn't scalp them and Red Cloud says maybe they should
have.
Brian and Red Cloud leave for the race and Walker is with
Rachel, going to see the race.
The racers line their cars and get
ready as Team Forbes backer tells the driver he'd better win or else.
Mr. Forbes tells a passing worker to take car of the team Cherokee car
like they planned.

In the stands for the race we see Alex, Trivette, Trent and Carlos.
Then we pan around the race attractions/happenings.
The racers start
their engines and Walker comes with Rachel to watch.
Trent comments
about Brian being in the second pole position (and Paula will tell you
his comment is wrong "{Brian} Falcon started 3rd on the grid & thats
not what he said") and Walker says yep he had second best time.
Trivette and Carlos chime in about Brian's time being behind Coltrain
(the driver for team Forbes). Rachel says that if Brian wins they're
going to build a new school for the reservation.
The race begins and
we see them off. Brian Falcon is really moving as we continue to watch
them go.
(If you don't like racing or never seen it you might be lost
or bored so I'll be short here). We then focus to the two main drivers
of this ep. Coltrain and Falcon. Brian takes up the lead and Coltrain
gives Brian a little "love tap" on the right rear of his car, just as
Rec Cloud tells Brian to watch that side.
Carlos asks if Coltrain can
do that and Trent says he guesses so.
Team Forbes' crew chief is mean
and encourages Coltrain to keep up the attention work.
Just then a
wreck occur on the track and Brian/Coltrain blow through. Red Cloud
call Brian to the pit to change the tires. Only after team Cherokee has
him jacked, they find the tires slashed (here's Paula's commentary "no way could tires be slashed in the pits, security is too tight" But
hey they needed angle for the script).
Brian tells his crew to put him
down, he'll race on what he's got. The ground crewman doesn't want to
let Brian do this and neither does Red Cloud.
After a long and stern
look from Brian, the crew drops him and sets him off.
Up in the stands
Walker, Rachel and Trivette talk about them not changing the tires.
When Rachel sees Brian off again she kind of flips out about the tires
not being changed.
As the race continues Brian starts in back of the
main pack and pulls up. He then is tailing Coltrain waiting for his
moment to take the lead. Red Cloud tells Brian to wait for it then
gives him the go ahead to take the lead.
In the stands everyone rises
as we see Brian cross the finish line first.
Just then Trent gets a
call on his cellphone (yes he has a cell phone now). Trent tells them
he has a new case and that he'll meet them at the victory party.
In
the winners cricle everyone is happy (the Cherokee car tires blow) as
the crew chief of team Forbes decides to start trouble about the tires
being old and almost killing everyone out there with that risk.
Red
Cloud tells Forbes crew to leave, but the Forbes crew wants to make it
an issue. The two teams fight and the officials threaten to disqualify
both teams if they don't cool off.

At CD's the decorating for the celebration is underway and a man walks
in with his dog. Cd doesn't want the dog around but the man says he's
a ventriliquist. Just then the victors enter and Cd asks if they have
a "reservation" Joe gives a toast and Brian oles fun at him.
They
celebrate as CD asks where Trent is and Walker tells him. Trivette asks
about the dog and CD tells him he's a ventriliquist. Trivette belives
the dog is the ventriliquist til he's told the man is (can we say a
few short of reality?).
At Thunder Karate a woman is asking for
Trents' help. He's say the police are already involved, but the mother
insists that her daughter (Tracy) is in trouble and they won't be able
to find her. He agrees to try and the mother feels a bit relieved
(Trent is such a gentleman).
Walker then goes to visit the reservation
and Brian. He asks about the tires being slashed and Brian gives an
indirect answer. Just as Rachel comes from their house, he says
that it's part of racing and that yes there have been threats against
Rachel.
Rachel hears this and gets ticked cause she didn't know this.
Brian says it's nothing but Rachel goes storming off and Brian has no
idea why she's mad (the woman is moody cause she's pregnant. Men, so
dense sometimes).
Red Cloud tells Brian to go talk to her.
We then see
Trent walking the streets carrying Tracy's pic and asking questions.
He questions a hotdog vendor and the vendor says she use to walk in a
group in front of him and that Trent should ask a man making paper
flowers (Karney).
Trent goes to the man and begins to question him.
Trent shows Karney the pic of Tracy and he says he knows her and that
the BAT took her (yes he said bat). And Trent doesn't understand cause
this man has some difficulties talking. After taking it slowly, Trent
figures out that Karney is talking about a black van with BAT and some
numbers on the license plate took Tracy.
Karney explains that he
talked to the police but when he said the BAT took her they stopped
talking (I can understand this. if someone said the bat took her you'd
think nut case has watched Batman too often).
Trent the buys a paper
flower and Karney hands him another so that when he finds Tracy, Trent
can give it to her. Trent walks off and calls up Carlos.
*****Commercial*****
Back at CD's the ventriliquist and his "dog" comes and the dog asks
for two beers. CD gets smart with the dog and the dog puts up a good
fight.
The dog tells CD they are a lot alike, in that they have both
been fixed (quite a funny scene).
Back at the reservation Brian talks
to Rachel and comes back a bit later, even more confused. The guys
just tell him things will go right and start talking about the race
car. Red Cloud wants to get more power out the car and Walker suggests
changing the jets.
Brian is surprised that Walker knows about cars,
and Walker begins to reminisce about the old days and racing against
Red Cloud. He then tells them that he used to fix his car when he
couldn't afford a mechanic.
As Walker leaves the picture, Joe comes by
and tells Brian he's sorry about Rachel. Brian says it's ok and the
guys start to take the car apart.
We then focus in on a license plate
with BAT and it's black.
We then see Carlos and Trent in front of an
X-rated shop. They enter and ask a rather old man behind the register
if he's seen Tracy (passes her pic to him). The man looks at the pic
and is visibly enticed by it and tells the guys that she's quite a
piece (can I just take Carlos' gun and shoot this guy now?).
Carlos
then asks if the van outside is the cashier's. The cashier gets smart
with Carlos and makes sure that all in the store knows he's a cop.
Carlos tells the man the girls name and that she was seen getting in
to that van. THe guy gets even smarter and looks at Trent as he says
he doesn't have to tell them a thing.
Trent gets really pissed off (I
think that's cause Tracy reminds him of his little sister Tandy and
hits an emotional string there) and grabs the guy from the counter and
demands to know where Tracy is.
At this time the guys in the shop
begin to jump Carlos and Trent, but the two quickly kick butt.
The
cashier then comes behind Trent with a pipe but Trent stops him and
slams the guy against a pole, holding him up (you go and pound him
Trent! Porno scum).
Trent is so pissed he's lethal and tells the guy
that him and Carlos are now in a very bad mood.
Carlos suggests that
the guy talks or find out how bad their mood can get.
The guy says
nothing but repeats a address. Trent gets ticked even more and wants
answers, but the guy just keeps saying the address.
Trent tosses the
guy to Carlos and Carlos cuffs him as he reads the guys his rights.
Back at the race way the team Forbes crewchief, some guy and Mr.
Forbes are talking about taking team Cherokee out of the picture.
At
CD's, Walker and Trivette are talking about how Walker thinks Forbes is
up to something, as Alex watches on.
Coming around in the blue 'vette
is Carlos and Trent to the address they had been given earlier. Carlos
tells Trent he'll take the front and for him to take the back.
As
Carlos makes his prescence known the man instead stops what he's doing
and runs out the back, where he meets Trent.
Carlos kicks in the door
with his gun drawn and enters. While Carlos searches the house, Trent
is subduing the guy who fled out the back.
Carlos comes to a closed
door and finds little Tracy sitting at a table completely dazed.
Carlos carefully approaches Tracy and tries to get her to acknowledge
him, but she doesn't. Carlos then picks her up (sure some of you
ladies wanted to be her) and carries her out the back where Trent is
completing his task of subduing the bad guy.
Trent sees Tracy and asks
how she is. Carlos tells her she seems fine but to call for an
ambulance anyway.
The two go back in the house with the bad guy in
custody and Tracy in Carlos' grasp.
At the children's hospital Tracy's
mom is by her side crying while Trent looks on, saying that Tracy just cries
when she's awake and the keep sedating her. Trent feels so sorry and
leaves the room (you just want to give him a hug he looks so sad).
Outside of Tracy's hospital room Carlos tells Trent and Alex that the
examining physicians report says that Tracy was not sexually molested.
Trent is relieved, but Alex says that there is a problem cause the
guy that had Tracy is still reporting that he found her and was going
to call the police to come and get Tracy. Trent says that's a load and
Alex knows it, but she says there is no substantial evidence to say
other wise. Also that unless evidence can be found the man will walk
free.
The two look at Alex and dispute the photography equipment and
taking porno pics of kids, but she reiterates that the police found
nothing of that illegal nature.
So Trent and Carlos decide to go back
where they found Tracy.
At Mr. Forbes office, his crewchief and company is smiling. Forbes
wants to know why they're smiling and he's says that he's got an
inside informant. Mr. Forbes wants to know who and they call out Joe
(crewman from team Cherokee). Mr. Forbes is surprised by this, but
he's willing to deal with Joe when Joe tells him that he should be the
driver of team Cherokee not Brian and is willing to do the job for
twenty thousand dollars.
Mr. Forbes thought is that "if you can't
trust greed then who can you trust."
Back at the scene Carlos pulls
out the keys to the house and Trent follows him in (wouldn't Trent get in
trouble for B & E and Carlos for bringing a civilian on the scene).
At
the race way we see Brian coming in just before the race after
fighting with Rachel.
Red Cloud doesn't want Brian to race if he can't
focus. Brain says he'll be focused and gets ready.
The two check the
house from top to bottom and find nothing more than cob webs. Then
Trent looks at the couch in the parlor of the house and asks Carlos
that if he wanted to watch tv is that where he'd put it. Carlos says
no, so the two turn up the couch and rip the bottom out of it.
Carlos
then points to the tv and the two pop out the back tube of the tv. In
there they find a manilla folder. Carlos looks in the folder and finds
the pictures they were looking for. He passes a set to Trent and the
two look at it (Now if the pics are sickening why continue to look?)
Back to the race track and we see the race has commenced. Alex tells
Walker that she hopes Brian and Rachel can stay together.
While racing
Brian's car begins to leak brake fluid. Coltrain tells his crewchief
to tell the team Cherokee, but all the Forbes crewchief (Junior) does
is say yes and does not tell Red Cloud.
As Red Cloud tells Brian to
take it easy and Brian tries to put on the brakes, Brian can't get
them to work. Coming around a turn Brian viers into the wall and
across the track, flipping over and bursting into flames.
Joe and
everyone else can only look on in horror.
