MONOCT22/2000/11:07 It was my pleasure and privilege this past weekend to find myself feted as a guest panelist the L.C.A. in support of various charities on behalf of "LA FEMME NIKITA". As a stuntman (SECTION ONE operative) who appears throughout Seasons II throught V, I had the honour of sharing time and space with many other people from all over the world, all of whom are as devoted to the series and the characters as myself. This was a highlight in my life to date, as I am constantly being given the gears (affectionately!) by colleagues and friends for being "such a fanboy". I had thought myself fortunate to be permitted to work on a show that I actually watch - religiously! - and enjoy consistently, but I feel even more fortunate to have been granted the opportunity to meet so many others who not only love the show as much as I, but who have taken note of my humble efforts in various episodes over the years. Furthermore, the hospitality and kindness I was shown by all was such that my normal equilibrium yet eludes me. For those of you who were hoping to see and hear my renditions of SHAKESPEAREAN soliloquies, please know that I intend to honour my commitment at CLOSE QUARTERS STANDBY IV, without fail: only incarceration or death will prevent me, and as we all know, imprisonment is not an option for SECTION ONE operatives!
