The Salem Inn

(John and Marlena arrive at the Salem Inn. Their clothes are soaked and wet. Yet, they go in. The desk clerk looks at them with a weird look, but then he recognises John and remembers their plan.)

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Black"(John and Marlena look at each other and smile.)

"Hello is our room ready?"

"Why yes sir it is. Here is the key. Enjoy."

"Thank you."

(John then guides Marlena up to their room. They arrive to a room that is filled with peach clolred roses and candles. The sight just takes Marlena's breath away. Then she notices a gift, which is addresses to Mrs Black. Marlena goes and takes the gift in her hand.)

"What is this John?"

"I don't know. I believe it is from your husband. Why don't you open it?"

(Marlena opens the gift and sees that it is a nice silk violet slip dress)

"Oh John, you didn...."

"Shhhh.... I thought you would like it. Now why don't you go and change."

(A smile creeps across both of their faces)"Ok Mr Black"

(She then takes John's shirt and pulls herself close to him and places a kiss on his cheek)

ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER....

(Marlena is in the bathroom brushing her hair, when all of a sudden she hears music start to play. She then opens the door and she sees John standing by the bed with a single rose in his hand. A glittering smile overwhelms her face)

"Oh John, you are so special"

(As John takes Marlena's hand to dance Shaniah Twain's song begins to play..)When I first saw you I saw love
and the first time you touched me I felt love
and after all this time, you're still the one I love..."

(John guides his hands around Marlena's waist and pulls her tight)

Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

(We then see John and Marlena just gaze into each other's eyes. Each one in total amazement that they are still together, ni each other's arms)

They said "I bet they'll never make it"
but just look at us holding on
We're still together, still going strong

(Marlena then takes John and pulls him closer to her. So close that she can feel his heart beat. The song continues...)

(John then separates himself from Marlena. He then takes her chin and sings the next verse to her...

"Ain't nothin better. We beat the odds together. I'm glad we didn't listen. Look at what we would be missin."

(As the song continues John takes Marlena and guides her to the bed)

"Doc, I have one last surprise for you tonight. Here it is. Please open it"

(Marlena opens the gift)

"Oh... John, wedding bands..."

"Yes, they are our wedding bands. I had them engraved a few days ago. I hope that you like them"

(Marlena's eyes fill with tears)

"I love them. They're beautiful."

(She gives John a huge hug. She reads the inscription and it says: John and Marlena Now and Forever.)

"Doc, will you marry me?? Here tonight, will you become my wife??"

(Tears begin to roll down Marlena's face)

"...... YES!!"

(John takes the appropriate ring and begins to say his vows)

"I John, take you Marlena to be my lawfully wedded wife. Doc, I believe that God put me here on this earth to find my "One true thing". My one true thing is you, Marlea. You are my strength, soul, and sense of love in my life. With this ring, I vow to love you, hold you, and support you, now and forever. I LOVE YOU!!"(John then slides the ring on Marlena's finger. She then begins her vows)

"I Marlena, take you John to be my lawfully wedded husband from here to eternity. I vow to love you and honor you. John, from the first day I saw you I have loved you. Throughout my life you have provided me with so many luxurious things. Yet, the one thing that stands out above the rest is your love. You are so special John. When I found you I found my other half. Now with this ring i promise to love you hold you, and support you, now and forever. I LOVE YOU!!"

(With tears streaming down John's face, he allows Marlena to place the ring on his finger)"John, I now pronounce us husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

(John then places a passionate kiss on his new wife)

"John, I love you, will you please hold me??"

(She breaks down crying)

"Doc, I know it seems as though we had to sacrifice a lot to get to this moment in time."(Marlena lays her head on his chest)

"Yet, I promise you that we will be together. Body, Mind, and Spirit"

BACK AT ST LUKE'S

(Roman has finally called the paramedics. They arrive and begin to examine Stefano. Although, they find somehting shocking.)

"Excuse me, Captain Brady, may I have a word with you?"

"Yes of course!"

"Mr Brady, the victin would like to speak to you"

What? Wait, I thought he was..."

(Roman then turns around to see Stefano lying on a stretcher. He walks over to him...)

"Surprise!! Ahhh Roman. The Phoenix has rose again. Mark my words captain Brady, 'YOU WILL PAY!!!'"
