Vote for my site
I cannot believe how hooked I am on this show. I watched Thirtysomething
and My So-Called Life but Once and Again is by far the absolute best one
ever. I LOVE it and I truly will NEVER forgive ABC if they do not give
this show the proper spot for success. Why oh why do they do these tease
"6 episode" things for a brilliant show when they litter every other
night with really lame lame stuff (Wasteland?).
I truly will riot if this is not picked up as a permanent show. | - Jill
What a way to escape the grueling grind of day-to-day life. This show
is excellent. I watch very little TV - my entire family laughs at the
fact that I go to bed at 8:30pm every night - that was until ONCE AND
AGAIN. I don't require 9 hours of sleep on Tuesday's any more - I
wonder why?
Once and Again is by far the best show on TV
Sela Ward is a wonderful actress she will be a welcomed new addition to
this year emmys for female leading ladies for drama, as well as Once and
Again getting a Nod for best Drama, they have my Vote this show is
great. They also have a great supporting cast, and the story
possibilites are endless. Both of the Exes are so believable and I love
how they both are still a big part of their childrens lives.
I absolutely LOVE this show. I am the same age group as the
characters and in essntially the same situation. It is very realistic,
very sexy and funny at the same time. It's nice to know that obviously
others are going through the same thing in life if they created a show
about it.
I think the show is great and have seen every episode so
far. The characters are very realistic. ABC will be making a big
mistake taking this off till January. You won't get me watching another
cop show, and then when this comes back who knows if I and thousands of
others will even remember to look for it. DON'T DO IT.
I think the show is getting better and better. This past eposide was
really great and had some wonderful acting. I really enjoy the character
of Eli, Shane West, was wonderful last night in dealing with all of
this. I really think Eli and Jennifer make a great couple.
Grace just leaves me confused, much like herself. Yeah I know what it's
like to be her age but she is just over the top.
i think the show is very realistic, except for the fact that
Rick lets his son have sex in the house with him knowing it!! my parents
would never let me do that!
I think this show Is AWESOME!!!! My favorite story is
Jennifer Eli and Grace They are interesting fun to watch teens which
have semi realistic stories. Like Eli and Jennifer theres the jealousy
fear love it reminds me of when i was 16(not that i'd ever wanna be
again) But Kimberly McCullough and Shane West are awesome. Keep up the
good work
I love the show. It's easy to get drawn into the
character's lives. I especially like Lilly's reactions to life, dating,
and daily situations. It seems very real, in part because of her great
acting. I really like when she (or he) reflects on the past, or looks
at the parallels in theirs and their kids lives, and realizes or decides
how or if to take the next step. That moment of realization is a
powerful moment.
I watched Once and Again for the first time this week, due
to the fact that I kept hearing all of these great things about it. I
think it is easily the best new show of the season and on top of that-it
is a must see for me from now on. The characters are real, the actors
are phenon, and the storyline easily draws you in, and there's no easy
fix. It's one of those shows where you can love almost everyone, you
can see everyone's view point and that's a rarity. I really don't want
this show to go on hiatus I'm sure I'd go through withdrawl LOL. Great
tv is such a hard find.
I love this show - the best new one on. If you have ever
begun "dating again" after a divorce, this is so real! I love Selma
Ward - she is so natural. And the guy is a hunk - not conceited, just
nice. I'm hooked - can't believe it will end this mo. till Jan. - big
mistake, ABC.
HI. I watched both the first and second episode so far and
immediately was struck by the raw honesty of the show's subject matter.
The writers are doing a great job so far and the actors were well cast
(great to see Sela Ward on the small screen again) and have terrific
chemistry. Well done! Keep up the good work.
I watched Once and Again for the first time this week and
thought it was very well acted and presented real life situations that
you could feel with the characters. However, I was very disappointed at
the conversation between father and son about when to have sex with his
girlfriend. Don't get me wrong, I think parents and children should
discuss sex and real life situations, but I felt the father was
encouraging his son to have sex when his girlfriend was ready. I think
this is misleading to young people today. I am a Christian and feel sex
outside of the marriage relationship is wrong. Even if one doesn't feel
that way, there are a lot of reasons to abstain, unwanted pregnancies
and std's to name a few. As a mother of three sons I would gladly listen
and talk to them but never encourage them to have sex outside of the
marriage relationship. I felt the show was off base in doing so.
This show is great! This is what real life is about. It is
hard to find a show that pertains to the middle-
The show seemed to be going in the right direction until the
last 15 minutes of the second show. The nudity was un-called for and
the scene could have been done without the bare butt full length
backside. The show had some redeeming values expecially the
father-to-son scene talking about having sex. I do not believe in
premaritial sex but if it must be done for the sake of television, it
was good to see father and son that can communicate. I will not watch
another episode until it is cleaned up--My favorite is still 7th Heaven.

I thought that it was very well written and directed. The only thing was
that I thought it was a little boring. I couldn't relate to any of the
characters well, and for me to like a drama I think that's a necessity.
I will keep watching it and give it another chance (mainly because
Frannie will make me :-)
"We need a lot more
shows like this one...even my 12 year old found it interesting...Bravo to you ABC...for having the best show of the
season...I'll be glued to my set every Tues. at 10..."
"At first I thought: Oh, it's the same kind of
thing. I recognised WG Snuffy Walden's music. It started without
opening credits, like the first episode of "My So-Called Life." And
there was the device of having black & white reflections by the
characters, similar to the voice-overs in MS-CL.
"I hope people like the series. We saw the pilot (which will be the
first episode) and loved it. You can tell this show is
semi-autobiographical, for at least one of these writers! The show
accurately depicts what it's like when your original set of parents,
separate, divorce and begin trying to date again (before you end up with
another set of "parents") - from the kids' point of view, and from the
parents' and their ex-spouses' points of view also. (I should know.
I've been there myself.)
