Jon Lindstrom's Bio
Taken from ABC's offical Port Charles Site.

Portraying cerebral, moody and mysterious twin brothers Kevin and Ryan was a daunting, but welcome, assignment for Jon Lindstrom. What began as a recurring character on June 10, 1992, developed into a complex sibling relationship, and an intricate, ongoing storyline. Twin Ryan met a fiery demise in 1995.

Jon's life-long dedication to acting is apparent in his work on "General Hospital" and "Port Charles." Convincingly portraying men both seductive and sociopathic is one element of Mr. Lindstrom's studied skills. As convicted murderer Dr. Ryan Chamberlain, Mr. Lindstrom illustrated a character who had finally gone over the edge psychologically. Now, as twin brother Dr. Kevin Collins, Mr. Lindstrom illustrates a seemingly well-adjusted professional who just may be more similar to his sibling than he'd like to acknowledge.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Jon was introduced to acting by his father, an advertising executive who also directed commercials. Jon also studied music as a drummer, eventually attending the University of Oregon studying music and drama.

Moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Lindstrom studied with many of the most prominent acting teachers, including Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler and others, while sustaining himself with bartending jobs. His first professional acting assignment, in fact, was playing a bartender in the ABC series, "Call to Glory." Mr. Lindstrom's additional TV credits include the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker saga, "Fall From Grace"; and the movie for television, "The Alamo, Thirteen Days to Glory," with Alec Baldwin. Mr. Lindstrom also had a role on "Santa Barbara" from 1985-86 and a recent two-part guest-starring role on "Baywatch."

In feature films, Jon was seen in "Point Of Seduction" with Andrew Stevens and Morgan Fairchild and "Listen to Me" with Roy Scheider and Kirk Cameron. A talented musician and drummer, Jon has recorded an album, "Feel Free to Do So," with his group, The High Lonesome.

An active athlete, Mr. Lindstrom is a skilled scuba diver, an avid skier and an expert in martial arts. Jon also enjoys traveling, having backpacked through much of Europe and the United States. He and actress Eileen Davison (Kristen, Days of Our Lives) were married on May 3, 1997 and share a home in Southern California.
