Toadi Acceleratio Semper Absurda

Just my little page of Disneyland stuff. Being Californian I was raised with a dash of Disneyland and a big hunk of Knott's Berry Farm. Knott's is still my favorite BUT since at the moment I only have a Disneyland Annual Pass this is what you'll get. In fact for the first time ever all of my family have annual passes. As to the title of this page... well you are just going to figure that out on your own.

My Pin Wants List

April 8, 2003

I went to the Passholder preview of the many adventures of  winnie the pooh and Playhouse disney. I've heard alot of people didn't like the ride but I enjoyed it as I did the show. i even found Max, Melvin, and Buff on the ride. You have to know when to look for them. Mom liked everything too. I think what put people off was that it was geared to little ones. If you have small children make sure you bring them to the Playhouse disney.

A day with mom is always a joy. Today's trip was to California Adventure after we had breakfast at the Carnation Cafe at Disneyland. Anyway we played Who wants to be a millionare and didn't get to go on the hot  seat but it was still enjoyable. Rode Soaring over California and that caterpillar train with all the smells. Oh yes and a very nice Castmember Paul helped me with the wheelchair. Thanks Paul!

I got to go with my mom and dad today. Pretty cool because it's a weekday and dad was off work. yea! Today's rides were Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, the Train, and Jungle Cruise with cruise host Alex. (fun guy). Oh I noticed that the foxes are back next to the white cats in Splash Mountain.  The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh had it's soft opening but we like to leave early and it wasn't going to open till 2pm. I have the Annual Pass holder preview for it anyway.

Submarine Voyage

Where else could the common man explore the great depths of the ocean? It made you feel like you were really going away to a magical underworld of danger and beauty. Sure you hoped that everyone took a bath and you prayed that no one farted especially the cabin host I'm sure. Life was good all in all riding off in your very own yellow submarine.

Rumor has it that they may be returning soon. I hope if that happens that it won't look pasted together with spackle and paint. Remember that poor lagoon has been quiet for many years. I'm sure by now all the mermaids are belly up from lack of attention.

FUN FACT: The subs were first painted gray.

America Sings

You stay in your seat and stage moves! I miss this one with it's wonderful songs and baby possums. I thought they were the darn cutest things. I'm glad they live in Splash Mountain now. A big reason I like Splash Mountain is all the America Sings fellows. I miss Sam though. I never saw the Progress show until I went to WDW, it was cool but Sam eagle was better.

FUN FACT: Carrousel Of Progress and Innoventions turned Clockwise But America Sings turned counter clockwise.
