THE CONOR AWARDS FOR 1997 HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. ALL '97 AWARD INFORMATION, INCLUDING PICTURES, WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH THE '98 INFORMATION. Welcome to the 1997 Conor Awards Pre-page. Here are the rules, nomination information, and anything else you might want to know. If there's something NOT listed here that you'd like to know, feel free to e-mail me at roarfic@usa.net.

RULES To nominate a story, you must include your name, your e-mail address, the author's name (if no name, then put "Anonymous"), the story title, and what category you're nominating it for. Send nominations to Nominations.Be sure to put "Nominations" in the Subject line.

All stories nominated must be archived here at Geocities, or must have a link to it at another archive. If you'd like to nominate a story that doesn't fall under those specifications, please send me the story a week before you nominate the story, so that I may archive it here.

START AND END DATES The contest opens on 31 October 1997, and willgo until posibly 21 December. I know this is short notice, but I am giving you all plenty of time to nominate a story.

WINNERS The winners will be announced in time for Imbolc, 01 February 1998, or maybe Valentine's Day, 14 February. They will be judged by me, and by Margaret Hall, Vice-President of the HLEB. All stories or authors that win will have a special picture indicating the win.
